The story about the missig musician reminds me of my own personal story. Oh how the stories spread wrong untrue facts.
I was friends with a Tejano singer in South Texas. She was known as La Reyna of Tejano. (Queen of Tejano) - I was listening to the radio one day while driving and they kept playing her music and then announced she had died. This was around 1997. I was surprised to hear this on the radio and I called herr right away.
She answered the phone. I told her that the radio station was paying tributes to her as she has passed away. She turned on the radio and listened. She called the station and set the record straight that she was alive and well. - How that got started we will never know.
On a sad note though, she did pass away in 2005 at age 50

Charter Schools are NOT in the best interest of children OR teachers ever it denies our regulatory agencies their ability to do their job for the American people. Darwins 'Survival of the fittest has been excessively abused in politics through manipulation of wealth. That if you are of the 1% wealthy, it's the only way you have a chance of survival. The theory has been debunk many times over. Yet trickle down economics (another theoretical attempt at governing, still supports that idea and was implemented through one political party in America even as recent as 2020.

The thing about truthfully accurate documentaries is that they generally do not make profit. They are not reallymade to entertain the audience. That is why they often bend the truth, to make the story more dramatic and interesting. That is why government-funded tv like PBS and BBC are so important. They show things about issues that are not nessecerily entertain but purely informative. Of course I am not american but the american documentaries I have seen often look like they bend the trouth for entertainment purposes.

Here’s the thing, the other narrator is the our favorite, but it’s not that the new guy is bad, it’s just the script needs to be retooled when he’s doing it. The jokes and humor that work for the original guy do not work for him, they feel forced and corny and honestly cringe at times. Like when Keanu Reeves was in A Midsummers Night Dream, it’s not that there was anything wrong with Reeves, but it wasn’t a good role for him. Same here, you need to adjust the writing for the specific narrator.

I remember the lemmings one. Disney made three whole generations believe that lie. It was so commonly accepted that I remember reading a story in elementary school about a native girl who got lost in the wilderness and complained that all the lemmings had already mass off'ed themselves and therefore had nothing to hunt. It wasn't until I was in my 20s that I learned the real story.

This nonsense has been going on for decades. Heard the same thing since high school.
None of it has ever happened. Ever. No ice age. Kentucky isn’t on the east coast.
We’re not experiencing the hottest months and years in history either.
The records only go back to the mid 1800s.

That data you mentioned was calculated by who else. public schools, And Margaret Raymond is a known leftist with her own agenda. You kids who are content providers may be be making some money, but you children don't know your history.

I was thinking about Spurlock the other day. The scene where he throws up after trying to eat the Double QPC meal. That probably happened to him, in part or in whole, due to his drinking. As the audience, we were lead to believe it was solely due to the food.

I know Super Size is mostly fake and the guy who made was likely just trying to get famous, but it did give the motivation to quit fast food. Especially McDonald's. I was incredibly obese as a kid because there garbage was cheap and Mom was broke.

As a Christian, I do not disagree with science. I personally believe that science is a way to understand the world God created. It breaks my heart when I see team science bashing faith or team faith bashing science.

It's pretty safe to assume that any documentary produced by network television or Hollywood is full of inaccuracies and falsehoods. It's how they do everything else, why would documentaries be any different.

My niece went to three different charter schools and had the worst teachers ever. One of them had no problem trying to indoctrinate the kids into his political and religious views.
