Lol i graduated this year. Its amazing how the ppl who were calling for bush and Cheney to be tried at the hague. Now cheer them on. I joined the military just after school and then later became an anti war activist. I voted obama. and now the guy who doesn't want war is being called fascist by the same ppl i used to go to antiwar rallies with, it's wild. Now i understand they were just show and dont believe it. It was just to win.

I live in London and I remember 7/7, my sister was on the trains and I remember getting a frantic call from her before she got cut off, then switching on the news and seeing what was happening! My heart was in my throat until a few minutes later when she called again to let me know she was OK and coming home. For years I hadn't thought about that day or the people who weren't so lucky until I watched this video.

The only thing that really makes the mid oughts special in its own masochistic way is that it was the end of Israeli control of American culture through corporate media. It was the beginning of the people regaining control of the microphone from the ethnically-Yiddish control via media corps. They are about to regain control though, through the nitwit unwitting ) Yd-sponsored fraudster DJT.

As an aspiring musician in 2005, high school me will never forget watching history as David Gilmore and Roger Waters reunited for the last time on stage. In a way, I felt like it was just for us, the fans new and old, the sons and fathers of a dying era. My dad always said he'd give an arm to go back. I never knew how right he always was.

Ever since 2004, the world was inching close to a cliff, and that year, we all fell off that cliff. We haven't hit the bottom yet, but if these videos show anything, is the slow decline of the human race. 2005 was a horrible year and it just keeps getting worse with each year after topping the last.

This was the year I graduated high school and started college. I also became a history major after briefly attempting to be a Pre-Med student at SUNY Stony Brook. Although I did not ultimately became a history major, 2005 was a major turning point in my life.

What's the deal with a bunch of these videos being from years away in either direction You're talking about Colbert appearing in 2005, but instead of just showing your clip from that you decided to show a clip from 2009 And even credited it as from 2009

I remember the Schivo case from when I was a little girl. I remember it being controversial because there's speculation that she suffered some domestic abuse at her husband's hands, and that's how she wound up in her condition.

Ford had released the first hybrid truck that year, the 2005 Escape Hybrid, after coming to a deal with Toyota to share technologies because Ford's hybrid tech was basically Prius tech and they couldn't copyright it

What amazes me is that 2005 was just around the corner. doesn't feel like it was 19 years ago.
The 80's yeah, feel quite sometime ago, a few eras. another planet. the 2000's doesn't.

The crazy thing about Deep Throat is that the Nixon Administration knew it was him and he really just blew the lid on Watergate because he was pissed about not getting a promotion.

The year before my life was forever changed by the opiate epidemic that took my mom and best friend in the entire world. If only I'd know how little time we'd have left together.

Just paused and spent 2 hours reading about Terri Schiavo, I'm disabled and that shocked me to the core, and another reason to always give power of attorney to your MOTHER!
