Funny considering the electric car batteries makes tons of hazardous waist for each battery and only a small portion of electric car parts can be recycled, the rest goes to landfill or stored in big 55 gallon drums. Most electricity is fossil fuels and electric cars would increase the fossil fuels used. Solar and wind is crazy unreliable power sources and most parts would end up in a landfill. Nuclear would be your only option for reliable power but leaves radioactive waist. What the bleeding heart climatologists never mention is that coal plants in the USA, since Bill Clinton was in office, have used carbon scrubbers for many years now to collect harmful material in the stacks, all that comes out is steam and the carbon is recycled. Most other nations like China and India refuse to limit or reduce greenhouse gasses and refuse to use carbon scrubbers because it makes the coal plant cost far more to make. Also all those famous people and politicians pushing for green new deal yet they fly around the world in private jets, not very environmentally friendly and is just the popular trend to push. One rule for thee but not for me is their policy. We-ll listen when they all do as they preach!

what about charging? if every car was to be electirc, that means there would have to be chargers everywhere. and an entire nuclear powerplant could only power up about 3-4 average parking lots. Then there's the batteries. most electric cars use lithium ion batteries, which are highly flamable. We also don't know how to recycle them yet, so we have to throw them out in the wild. these batteries are also really bad for plants. and just like in our phones, the battery in EVs has to be replaced every 4-5 years and this can cost up to $20k. and also, think about this. we're all buying electric cars, scooters, skateboards, smartphones. Think about how many batteries there will be in the wild by 2025. Also, if EVs continue selling in as big numbers as they do now, lithium will be depleated before oil will. I think if ppl want EVs to continue growing, they will have to make some new type of battery or some other porpulsion sistem.

-With more than half of electricity being produced by fossil fuels, would the switch to electric vehicles even be worth it? We think so! -
Wait what? Lol
Yeah! This is way better for the environment. How? Because!
Question: What IF let-s say instead of a measly 20%, what if ALL over our electricity was produced be these -green- (inefficient and unreliable) renewable methods like solar and wind? What-s power cost look like then? Especially with the absolutely MASSIVE power demand added on by everyone switching to EVs? Luckily we really don-t need to play in the hypothetical because we can look no further than the brown state of California!

What would the world look like in 2020 if in 1835 when the very first electric car was built if we would have stayed with the electric cars the technology of today's world would be phenomenally better but the greedy oil people stop the electric car with Henry Ford so they could make billions selling cars that pollute and run on gas the Earth would have been a totally better place more advanced electronics than we have today. It was all changed by the greedy people Earth could be way more technologically advanced today because of the electric car back in 1935 big money rules the world politicians are just puppets

The deaths from fumes will be replaced with deaths from people who walked out in front of an electric car they didn't hear coming. What happens to someone stuck in traffic on a snowy day with the choice of using the car batteries to either heat the car or drive after things free up? Where is all this extra electricity going to come from? How in the hell will they ever replace heavy goods vehicles with electric ones when even the cars now are unable to do even close mileage to the diesel engine ones we have ATM? Better be some bloody smart politicians who can pull that rabbit out of the hat!

Building electric cars creates more CO2 than building IC cars and running convensional them for 15 years. And what happens when the lithium and rare metals run out? And by the time there are 35% electrica cars, there will be 35% more cars on the roads. Diesel electric cars are 5 times more fuel efficient the standard IC cars and are cheaper to produce and creat less CO2 to produce. Wind turbines create more CO2 in there build and lifetime than tey save, so they are carbon +. and so on. Tell a lie big enough and repeat it often enough and it will be believed.

what ab all the electronic waste these huge batteries create? what about if everyone on one grid was charging there Tesla and running their ac on full blast where would we get the power? how would we make the rebuild the grid to handle that load how much would that cost how much would that disturb the planet and how long would that take? trust me this isnt gonna happen anytime soon

Most people live in cities with street parking. I used to live in a city. It was not unusual for me to have to park a block away. The majority of vehicle users are not able to park where they can plug in their car. It is not realistic to run an extension cord down the street to my car. When people not in the top 20% income level have to buy electric cars, how will we solve this?

Electric cars are shit all car guys are going to melt in depression, i hope this NEVER happens bye bye to the V8-s Cool roads bye bye to manual transmissions -- bye bye to the fun times, cars will never be as good at combustion engines. I need to be older to drive and i do NOT wanna drive a electric car, cause that is SUPER Boring and sad.

Well if that happens.
And when your car breaks down and it will break down.
Your cost to repair your car will be very expensive.
Also your mechanic has to be a specialized mechanic to work on a electric car.
I'm going to stick to my normal car.

Gas cars produce around 7 metric tons of emissions to manufacture.
Electric vehicles produce around 18 metric tons of emissions to manufacture.
I hope internal combustion engines never leave. They sound cool, and are fun to work on.

You know we will probably not have any cars left as we do not have a nought battery to last us also what about alternative fuel and also cleaning up out oceans. also you have to consider buses, truck, van, helicopter, boats and planes

If Europe stop this electric drive by biomass. I shame about my country for that (Netherlands in my case): '. We need solarenergy, or energy grom wind energy (another technique than windmills) and water power stations and rainfall.

This may cause more pedestrian deaths, as they won't hear those cars, it's easy for driver to not see that and. it will happen.
Also those cars need litum batteries to produce, but we're running out of it.

Idea: What if we were all born blind. If humans had no eyes how would the world work? Would we even have evolved at all? Say we did evolve, what about bind life for everyone in present day?

How about battery waste?
And the earth had a big chunk because minerals mining for produce the batteries?
Are this green enough?

I only came here to know what the result of that would be because over here in England, we-ve got a petrol shortage.
