Maybe we'll adapt to have text claws and a tech neck due to our excessive smartphone usage. Or maybe we'll finally fuse with technology. In this episode, we're going to look at what scientists have theorized might be the next stage of human evolution. And find out what the perfect human might look like in the future. 00: 00 Science Reveals What We’ll Look Like in 1, 000 Years 06: 48 CRASHPROOF GRAHAM 09: 28 ANATOMICALLY AMAZING ALICE 12: 24 TRANSHUMANIC TIM 14: 35 THE PERFECT FUTURE HUMAN Support us on Patreon: Get the What if book: Join this channel to get access to perks: Interested in sponsoring our episodes or collaborating Email us: contactunderknown. com Our other channels: How to Survive: Aperture: T-shirts and merch: Newsletter: What If elsewhere: Discord: Whatsapp: Instagram: Twitter: Facebook: Produced by Underknown: #whatif #science #humanity

What a joke video, evolution is based on random mutations and natural selection that decides which gene will continue to exist, it doesn’t depend on what’s gonna be better if it is not about survival (leg injury doesn’t kill you or become a survival disadvantage in modern world and related to that we have majorly removed ourselves from the natural selection and also because of the enormous human population that all around the world, it is hard to have accumulation of the mutations within the generations which are more likely occur in the isolated and relatively small populations, in our genes, so in modern world without our intervention it is not quite possible to see different traits or anatomic differences in the far future, and the name of the video is just a silly joke

6: 47- That human looks ugly to me. You are far more handsome than that human. I hope I won’t look like that in the future. It seems a monster rather than a human being. 9: 38 She looks a bit weird to me. I would say a bit prehistoric. You wouldn’t have any trouble dating someone. They don’t look attractive at all. They look pretty cool! lol, they look like a mix of a goat and a human with special traits. You are white as mozzarella. Dark guys and girls, you are very lucky. Your skin looks nice and besides that, your skin gives you to a certain extent protection against the sun. We, white people, need extra solar cream. I am for trans humanism. I want to upgrade my soul and body.

This future prediction might hold some truth for the United States or Europe, where technological advancements and societal trends are already heading in this direction. However, I'm 100% sure it's not a one-size-fits-all scenario. People live differently in other parts of the world, with unique cultural, economic, and social contexts that will shape their own distinct futures. Let's not forget that the majority of the world's population resides in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, where diverse perspectives and ways of life will undoubtedly lead to alternative paths. We should be cautious not to impose a Western-centric view of the future on the rest of the world.

I find Mindy to be the most unlikely. Not only it stems from a vision of our world that I think is hyperbolic and not representative (masses of peuple with heads bent forwards on their phones like they're slaves of it. Sounds more like an ignorant conservative view than what actually happens) but I don't think we'll stick with phones as rectagular things in our hands for long enough for evolution to compensate for that in a visible way, I think connectivity will gradually move from a smartphone to some kind of thin, subtle exosuit covering all that. I mean, something we wear that will have all the functionalities of a smartphone and more.

Entertaining but you also have to look at tech advancements. For instance, the telegraph was invented in 1837 and in a short time we went from Morse code to cell phones. Most likely, in 50 years or perhaps less, the cell phone will be obsolete tech which eliminates Mindy. Same for crash proof. By the time it will take to advance human evolution, we won't be in cars or anywhere else where the potential for thos types of accidents can occur. Evolution Future Tech will determine mankind's future providing we don't kill ourselves off by then.

Evolution happens because the mutations give a larger chance of living long enough to being able to reproduce, or giving a larger chance of reproducing. Texting doesn't really do that (unless you think of dating apps lol, the humpback also doesn't come from a benefit to survival/reproduction. I wonder if there even is an evolutionary drive for humans now We do keep more diseases in our genetics because we have treatments for the symptoms now, if not for the genetics.

Hello Fellow Humans,
Being permanently disabled due to Bone Cancer and in pain 24 7 and having to walk with crutches is not a good life. So I am hoping for something to help me soon. By 2030 hopefully I will be able to walk and by 2050 we can be immortal. That maybe uploading or nanotechnology or something but it would be amazing.

1000 years ago people looked exactly the same as us. They had different cultures and life conditions. But they were anatomically the same as us what makes those scientists think we will look different in a future of 1000 years It makes no sense to me
More like 500, 000 instead. That’s five hundred thousand!

The fact that you think in 1000 years we are still using phone or device in our hands is utterly ridiculous. if you think we are gonna be stoved up like that, evolutionary speaking, in 1000 years is dumb too. in 50 years its probably all gonna be done with glasses or implants o4 equivalent
reply

Yeah this just wouldn't happen. Evolution only happens because of natural selection giraffes with short necks are all gone because they starved from not being able to reach the food in trees. literally nobody is dying bc they can't scroll brainrot content efficiently lmao
reply

One idea to debate about the smart phone evolutionary aspect is that if we take the variable of technology itself, perhaps we won't be accustomed to hand held devices in the near future due to the development rate of our technology itself constantly changing.

No matter what waiting room I'm in I always find it humorous to see most of the people no matter their age hunched over and on their phones. I never thought about the claw part. Will humanity still be the dominate species or even be around by that time
reply

It take at least 100 000 years to adapt to smartphone usage. You think we're gonna use smartphones that long Lol. They've existed for 20 years. And 20 years from now (or less) everyone's gonna use an AI enhanced neuralink implant and retina VR
reply

That's not how evolution works. I want to know what scientists say we will develop tech posture.
Evolution happens when a change in a genetic population has a procreative advantage. How would the tech posture change help us procreate

reply

Yeah no. Evolution may work fast but not that fast. If spearing mammoths, cultivating crops, and going through famine didn't affect humans in a drastic way I doubt 1, 000 years of smart phone use will do anything of note.
reply

In reality, humans 1, 000 years from now will look eerily similar to how we look now, just like we are so similar to humans 1, 000 years ago. Evolution takes more generations than that to take a considerable effect.
reply

9: 49 I think better hearing wont develope in the future. Most people will already have reproduced enough in their 20s, so they already passed on their genetics before hearing problems even became an issue
reply

Transhuman thing is fiction, you are human or cybord, not transhuman. And graham cant livable form, we need proper anathomy knowledge to build something working for a long term, not just for 20-30 year.
reply

This science projection is correct, but it's not in future, it's already started as I'm feeling strange that my both thumbs have grown 3 pack abs each, my eyes are blur and my neck is become zigzag.
reply

No text claw. We wont be holding phones like that for hundreds of years. Phones in our hands are interim tech until its integrated directly into our vision to turn on and off as needed.
