The thing is all these claims of some planets having water, diamonds, oxygen etc. is based on a best guess by analysis of the light spectrum that's coming off of the planet. It's based on the guess that if x wavelength of light is present, then it has oxygen, if y wavelength of light is present, then it has water etc. But the reality could be entirely different on that planet.

A higher pressure collapses your lungs No. Divers breath air under 4 to 5 times the atmopheric pressure, tecnical divers even more. Compression is not the problem, decompression is. He wouldnt be able to get his helmet off due to the pressure.

4: 30 FYI, Mars and Venus are in the habitable zone of the Solar System in terms of distance from the Sun. The problem with Venus is the hellish atmospheric composition. Mars has a very weak magnetic field, and atmosphere as result.

Kepler-22 b is propably a gas planet and has no solid surface and if it does it is all water. the planet has such an extreme athmosphere so it is extremely hot hell planet like Venus or an ice gas planet. There you have it.

Every planet has a different form of life. Earth is not the Standard’ for what life means. For us, yes, coz that’s the only form of life we know, but not for every planet. Sooner we understand that, better.

Would a planet this size be a gas dwarf I don't know if it would have a surface. Large ocean planets would be the boundary between a rock planet and a gas dwarf.
There seems to be plenty of plant life around.

That's something I always think about with these kind of exo-planets. Even if we can breathe the air, we just don't know if there's any harmful bacteria there, or worse.
