You can tell this is a 4 year old video. Now we know (or at least think) we do not have that much time due to plate tectonics. According to the latest studies/simulations the continents are moving back together and in the few 100 million years will make the climate too hot for mammals to live on the most of the surface of the planet.
But moving the Earth's orbit is not actually that hard, you just have to use some other large bodies like Ceres maybe to disturb our orbit slowly over 100's of thousands of years to slowly move our orbit further out.
Also. another point, Mercury's orbit is already destabilized! It's already predicted to eventually either be dragged into the Sun or be cast off into outer space. I can't remember which is more likely to happen in a few billion years.

The suns luminosity will increase by 1 percent per 100 million years. We have 500 millions years until the sun gets too bright causing major storms that deplete CO2, earth loose plants (unless they adapt to the heat) and O2 all together. Earth has 3. 5 billion years until it becomes hotter than Venus (1500c vs 470c) thanks to a runaway greenhouse effect that kickstarts in about 500 million years and slowly climbs 3 billions years later when it suddenly goes from around 150c to 1500c in a few short million years. We don-t have billions of years left to worry about the sun going into a red giant phase. Sun shields and way to reheat the core would gain us billions of years.

What bogus crap. It's already been proposed to use an orbiting small body, like a large asteroid, to slowly move the earth, at minute stages.
The mass of the asteroid nudges the Earth a few centimeters a year, resulting millions of centimeters away from the sun, by then. Assuming no genius tries the easier way and Sun-lifts the sun.

Cheaper to use sun energy to power super computer capable of simulating go zillions of human and animal minds for uploading into simulation then reworking a solution back into organic life when its feasible. we can do this in about 200 years from now which is scary to think

But if we need to move the earth that means we-ll need to move Mars as-well because then at least then we-ll have a lot of planets to live on, Mars Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus & Neptune & other exoplanets & galaxies, universes & dimensions

Place rocket on earth will destroy earth atmosphere, We go plan B, Use magnet, magnet will push each others, you got what i mean, i don't need to tell from A-Z, We can move earth without destroying earth atmosphere

4: 15 can't we just tie our moon to the earth with rope made of the strongest metal or diamond to the earth, and moon is already tied to earth with its gravity so we can take it with us

if humans are still around in 5 billion years i cant imagine the sun expanding being a problem as we would of probably sucked the life out of it for energy long before then

This doesn-t make any sense. Our solar system is for a reason. Either way we-re going to die. We need the sun to survive. We-re not meant to live in space long term either.

You're talking about the current technology. In a billion years if humans are still alive. We might be controlling the lifespan of every star or even a galaxy.

I don-t think we could ditch the moon if we wanted to. It-s just gonna follow the earth wherever it goes. Just like we follow the sun wherever it goes

the earth always moves every 9 monthsd thats why we have weather all the time and sun rotation and moon changes posistion while rotating

By the time The Sun Becomes a Red giant 5 billion years from now.
All of us won't be there.
And the Earth is already uninhabitable.

Shouldn't we start crashing asteroids into Mars until its gravity = 1g, then crash frozen asteroids to give it water & atmosphere?

Moving earth is a better option, but the real killer is Helium that's the element responsible in expansion of the Sun

I would move the earth as far As it used to be so it wasn-t so hot and same temperature as it used to be.
