What If T-Rex Were Still Alive?

King of the tyrant lizards. It's 6 meters tall (20 feet, 12 meters (40 feet) long, and it weighs upward of seven tons. You can hide from it, you might even be able to outrun it, but do you really want to do this every day? What would it be like to live with T. rex? Would we keep them in zoos? Would we eat them in restaurants? Would we wear them on our backs? Or would we live in constant fear of being chomped, clawed, or trampled?

In Arthur Conan Doyle's, -The Lost World-. a hidden plateau is found in the Amazon jungle where dinosaurs still survived, eeking out a perfect and perpetual balance with a small tribe of Indians and some other ape-like creatures, all of which maintained a population control and kept each other in check.
So they come in with rifles, shoot all the T Rexes, make the other dinosaurs into farming cows, develop the land into resorts. wipe out the ape creatures so the Indian population can explode and fill the plateau with pollution & garbage. So in the end it winds up a pretty mundane place just like everywhere else. Then they belch and say -Ahhh. Mission Accomplished-
Its a bit better than the Valley of Gwangi where they just straight out shoot everything, round the rest up for a circus and then they literally light the T-Rex on fire when it tries to escape. There's a wonderful scene in that movie where a Professor exclaims, -Egad! That animal whose neck you just broke was a Pteradon. who had miraculously survived on this planet for 65 million years! -. Good lord, lol

1) T. Rex didn-t have small eyes. It had the largest eyeballs among any terrestrial animal, period! It-s eyesight was supreme.
2) T. Rex might not have been able to run, but it didn-t need to because it could fastwalk. Each stride propelled it many meters forward very quickly. There is no outrunning a T. Rex as a human. Even if you somehow managed to outran it, you-d soon have to stop after a few meters due to exhaustion; by then T. Rex would have caught up and eaten you.

-Trex survived the meteor- we don-t even know if a meteor didn-t kill the dinosaurs they wouldn-t survive anyways and you fanboys don-t be responding to this there is every reason they would-ve died anyways due to the lack of food not all the herbivores plants can be alive forever the herbivores would-ve ate it all then they would-ve died I-m not writing why but it would cause extinction because the flesh would-ve rotted and Rex-s most likely liked it fresh

It would have been dead as the air back then was more carbon dioxide in the air and to back this up aber study-s in the air bubbles showed that the air had more carbon dioxide and oxygen was not as present as it is now and there was probably 25-20 percent or even 15-10 of oxygen(edit: and they probably wouldn-t kill us as we-re just skin and bones to them they want meater prey like other Dinosaurs and they wouldn-t roar they would sound like the jaws theme

depends, did they never go extinct 65 million years ago? or did they survive the asteroid? if they survived the asteroid and the aftermath, we wouldnt be here, but they i they some how survived by escapting the asteroid and its aftermath (how ever that ws done, and didnt reappear till the lost 70 or so years, they would be toast, since the militaries have the weapons that would deal with them

Outdated info in this video, severely outdated. T Rex weighed up to 10 Tons and had excellent vision. Additionally they absolutely were --not-- scavengers. Opportunistic predators that would work their own meal prep more than stealing from lesser predators.

Let's keep this in mind that because a T Rex is much taller than we are, it's stride while running would cover more distance than ours while putting in the same effort. Just because the T-REX wasn't known for speed, doesn't mean it couldn't catch us--

The Tyrannosaurus Rex's eyes were NOT -small and weak-. They had one of the largest eyes in animal known history. Their vision is estimated to have been significantly better than a modern eagle's vision.

If T-Rex were still alive,
we'd have Kentucky Fried T-Rex restaurants
instead of Kentucky Fried Chicken. ..
Look at the size of those drumsticks.
Or should I say, -trunk sticks. -

reply

It would've evolved to be about the size of an extra large ostrich because the food wouldve been smaller, then when humans became evolved enough we would've hunted it to extinction for sport.
reply

Ok but what if a T. rex from Jurassic park where alive and I mean the T. rex that ran 32 miles per hour the T. rex killed two raptors the T. rex that Took down Jurassic Park
reply

Yeahhh T rex was fast, they also most probably had WINGS and can most likely be able to jump like chickens if theu cannot chase you they might fly dash instead
reply

T-Rex was by far the most advanced predator of the dinosaur species. Maybe you should stop getting your info from Jack horner. He's the reason JP3 sucked.
reply

a big predator - a big target. and 1000 appear, they will not survive long. the opposite, if they were ancient ants, or other small creatures. bad. for us!
reply

I think they would be more scared of us if they were still alive I think us humans would hunt them till extinction just my opinion lol
reply

This dude is wrong. T rex had the best eye site of any land animal ever. eye size is what matters and it isnt relative to size.
reply

3: 30 Actual proper modern scientific evidence suggests 1 It was a hunter and 2 IT HAD ONE OF THE BEST EYESIGHTS OF ANY ANIMAL EVER.
reply

the mass extiction wasnt sudden. if it were sudden therapods wouldnt have evloved to birds when evolution takes millions of years.
reply

Have you ever seen a Muskovy duck rampaging on a ton of cockroaches? Yeah, that would be how trex plus humans would have looked like
reply

Are you dumb? T rex had sight even better then a hawk also they were predators not scavengers do better research next time
reply

Part of the morning routine to get to work. Walk out the door, go around the corner, dodge the trex jump on the bus.
reply

Yeah so with the t-rex is it true that they can not see people if people don't move is that true or is that not true
reply

what if us humans extinguished komodo dragons from tyrannosaurus rexes or other wise known as the t rexes in stuff
reply

The T-Rex can't survive the asteroid because it's strong and it costs big giant explosions that pangea broke apart!
reply

TRex had the best sight of any land predator ever better than an eagles where is this dude getting his sources lmfao
reply

Actually the T-Rex's eyes even though they were small they could actually see an object 3 miles away so
reply

Given a choice, I would rather live with the plant eaters. At least I know that I wouldn't be on the menu!
reply

If the t-rex still exists well it will gonna take the throne and the crown of the king of the jungle lion
reply

They would go extinct soooo fast. Not even because of people. Its because they DON-T HAVE A FOOD SOURCE!
