The world is too busy killing each other over greed, religion and hatred towards one another.
We need to fix ourselves before we even get to be able to fix our evolution. Humanity are not leaders, they are followers.
If humanity were leaders then humanity would not be praising fictitious gods that don't exist by reading a story book.
If humanity were leaders we wouldn't be hating each other to the point where we are having wars with one another, killing each other along with the planet.
We need to get off fossil fuels like yesterday, but we don't because the government wants people to remain on the grid so they get trillions of dollars each year all for the sake of greed.
This exact greed is whats killing this planet & the main reason why we have a climate problem. Rich countries being narcissistic while half the world is starving, in poverty & homeless.
Humans are experts at destroying everything they touch, So until we fix ourselves in the extremely tiny time we have on this planet & this life,
humans will continue to remain as a Type-0 species and eventually humanity will kill itself and the planet they live on because humanity cant get their shit together.

I don't know why anyone would still be so obsessed with climate change, as a hypothetical type 2 civilization. Climate change is a reality of the earth, long before the birth of human civilization, the earth has undergone different period of different climate conditions for hundreds of millions of years. The earth came out of the last ice age (glacial period) just a little more than 11, 000 years ago. We are scared of climate change today, because our current human civilization is still to primitive to survive a drastic climate change. But a type 2 civilization do not even depend on a planet. I think such a civilization would want to let earth go through whatever climate change it chooses to.

Wish I knew how to creat something that we could put on all our roads that as cars drive over it the pressure generates a small amount of energy like enough to power a toaster. If this tech was put over all our busiest roads especially in our major cities we could have clean unlimited energy
