India and china going to war on water is not exactly a great possibility.
Since most of India is dependent on Rain rather than rivers.
Ganga, Yamuna, Godaveri, Narmada etc. actually originate in India and not China. So, not exactly problematic part.
Also, Brahmaputra is the river that China is building dam upon actually doesn't impact India much given it is the wettest place on the planet. In fact region suffers due to floods immensely.
So lesser water would be better.
Water war between India and Pakistan is the real possibility though since nation is drying up and wont have enough water or food in few decades.
Rainwater is not exactly there and region is suffering from Desertification. This can easily escalate in to a major war since China is its ally but Himalayas aren't exactly allowing china and India to fight casually. This has been the case from last 2000 years. In 1962 war as well Chinese had to retreat due to Himalayas.
So, things remains to be seen how exactly would it turn out.
Nepal and Bhutan are actually Indian ally historically and the people have visa and passport free access to India, even the government services and army are open to them.
Fun fact - USA doesn't have that much good will in India. So, USA's job of being hegemony isn't exactly easy.

I think the Chinese wouldn't ever dare to go in a war with India after the galwan valley clash. Here are reasons listed below-
1. Since china followed one child policy. It has an army of single children. Never in the known history, there have been an army of single children this large. This is a major shift in a family oriented society because as far as my knowledge goes Chinese parents arent that different from Indians, they love their children especially if it is male. If india manages to kill even a mere 1000-2000 soldiers. That is enough to cause regime change in China.
2. The Chinese are to known to be easily conquerable. Ex: Mongols, British, Japan, etc whereas India has had one of the most resistent militaries ever. The problem with India is our people are pacifistic. They are very aware of this. So, they will try their best to delay war as much as possible. Even with Taiwan, China is very cautious, it doesn't want to take any rash actions whatsoever.

I just graduated with my BS in environmental science where I did a lot of research on coastal wetlands. Another thing to consider with damming the Nile that was sort of touched on is the lack of sediment damaging the Nile river Delta. the Nile already sees upwards of 99% sediment loss due to damming and agriculture. This has lead to massive declines in the Nile river Delta which as addressed, is important for farming. But coastal wetlands also provide much more, they are vitally important for combatting climate change and coastal damage from storms. In addition, they can provide habitat for as much as 2/3 of marine life. If you're interested in reading more, all this info is coming from the article coastal wetlands loss, consequences, and challenges for restoration by Xiuzhen Li et al. It provides and excellent overview of why it's an issue, how the issue is manifesting, how humans are playing into it, and what we might do to fix it all at a global scale.

Very interesting, however you have a major error in your synopsis of the India/China water war. The ganges begins and ends in India. The Brahmaputra begins in China but most of its volume is aquired after it passes into India as the southern slopes of the Himalaya range receive unfathomable amounts of precipitation in the form of rain during the monsoon and snow in winter. China has almost no control of India's water supply. COnversely, the Indus begins in India and is the lifeline of Pakistan. The real water war in the region which would kick of war between India and China would be if India cut Pakistan's supply of the Indus, in which case China would intervene.

I would disagree in your claim more urbanized means lower birth rate it has more to do with women being more likely to become educated living in an urban society. But I can see how you view that since urban societies contain jobs that require more education than rural societies. I link it to education not urbanization. This is especially seen in undeveloped nations but still have large urban areas ie Indias Delhi Metro and many other African mega cities. These places are urban maybe not in the Western sense but they are urban but lack the higher education that the western urban areas have.

For the Central Asian countries Ill say I could see a bright future for them. Its not guaranteed but I think theres a good chance Uzbekistan either conquers or unites with Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan and forms a country around the Uzbek identity, like you said. The thing is that this country (well call Timur) if the pressure is great enough, which as youve said it almost would be, could easily become a wealthy important player in the region, conquering Turkmenistan and possibly Kazakh Kazakhstan to solidify its power.

7: 17 its not accurate at all. even from the first day that ottmans came to this region they had control on iraq, it wouldn't be close to 1000 years. they never ever be here in middle east for 1000 year. 800 to 850 years ago they came here and even with that, you have at least more than a century unaccurate(also we most considet that had so independence years during this period. also other nations is on the list. so in fact you are not accurate just more that 1 century, your unaccuracy is easily would reach many centuries!

Fair play to China in relation to the ageing war theyve seen what an old population can do to a 1st world nation in their neighbours Japan. Theyve played the long game and in 50 years time they will have a much smaller old generation due to the one child system. Now people in China can have more than one child, they will have a much larger, younger generation at the height of the civilisation who can continue to innovate technology increase the countries GDP even further.

Been bouncing around your videos, just got to this one. I'm not super concerned about the water wars.
The majority of political entities own their watersheds, which drastically limits the amount of wars that can happen unless somebody wants to invade another watershead.
While there are cases like Ethiopia and Egypt, maybe even China and India, these are my far more the exception than they are the rule.
