Ill have to disagree on the taiwan take. Taiwan is the most crucial ally one country can have, just because of its semiconductive silicon chips plants. The US has taken steps to attract a tsmc plant in the US, but it stills cannot afford to lose taiwan to the hands of the chinese, or they would kiss goodbye to all advances in tech, and the next advanced weaponry.

When was the last time China won a war? They were on the winning side in WWII and were involved in the Vietnam and Korean theatres but when was the last time China won a war? It seems to me that they have a history of being conquered but not really one of conquest.

Although this guy is entertaining and knowledgeable, I lost interest when he opined that he thought WWIII would likely be fought without nuclear weapons. That suggests to me that he has little understanding of what war is and how it works.

Block the strait of malaka and you cut off most of china's oil supply and blow up some pipelines and natural gas goes too. Blow up some mountain passages and china can't reach India through the Himalayas except with planes.

I am not sure India would be our ally. My guess it would negotiate some settlement with China. They don't seem like a good ally on a good day and there is a lot of anti US sentiment now a days.

And Iran didn't stay neutral. They might not have sent troops to join Himler but they corresponded with Hitler. Persia changed its name to honor Hitler and the Aryans.

I think that you give too much credit to China. If China was strong then you wouldn't get so many small countries, that are allies with the US, around it.
