#1 What if the Mongol Invasions Never Happened?
video description
The states where heathy but the leaders of those states where not. Also some of them where new formed and shaking.
Mamluk Egypt defeated them as well India. They had only 2 smart good general tactician figures. They also didn't have the stamina in long ruling.
Even Go-Turks are much better than the Mongolias of 13th century. Even Italia had a better army.
Spitia was better than Great Khan. Both of them i would put at tire B. There is individuals in history way better and had way more disadvantages and harder positions. Such as: Sleeping Dragon of China Zhuge-Liang, Khalid the Sword of God, Napoleon Bonaparte and others. Honorable mentions CaoCao and LanPo, WangYi, LiMo, LeXin, first Empire of China, Hannibal, Scorpio.
Also the answer of the video China and middle east would be most powerful superpowers of the world waaaaaay a head of Europe in 21 century and less wars plus no WW1&2. Japan might be taken over by China. Muslim world power insted of Ottoman also would take Venia and Venice plus take back Iberian peninsula (by extension Sicily and even Nepal possibly) and be a very strong competitive in the colonialistion of America.
I don't think Shia thing would have any consequences as Savid Zoastrain would not get power.
There might be a unification power from borders of Afghanistan to Iberian peninsula. Mughal would just wouldn't be there but Dallie Sultanate would replace them (as they where there before Mongolias and Mughal) and be even stronger and perhaps with additional naval focus to control south east Asia and a competition and battles with South China to some extent sometimes. It means it would last longer than Mughal did.
RP Europe.

Genghis unified China and it stayed unified ever since proceeds to talk about how the South Song were resisting his grandson's (Kublai) conquests for not just years, but decades sometime later
China would need to adapt to western technology in the nineteenth century except the timeframe is completely thrown into wack because gunpowder would be introduced to the West wayyyyy later, (The mongols took chineese gunpowder secrets and used their technology to siege, which I'm reasonably sure is how Europe was introduced to gunpowder) which changes an absolute ton of things.

Im not sure I agree with you on the Mongols assimilating Central Asian Turks into Mongols. Of course they had some impacts but the majority of those regions are still considered Turkic. They still speak Turkic languages and majority Muslim. Yes there was a couple centuries of empires called Turco-Mongol Empires post-Genghis Khan(like Tamerlane ) but Id say the Mongols became Turkified rather than the opposite.

Can you do a video on why the natives of North America never created a great/powerful civilization? People seem to agree that the US has unmatched geographical advantages, yet that didn't help the natives. I know you don't like Guns, Germs, and Steel, so what is it? Lack of cultural and technological exchange with other cultures?

11: 48 Does anyone care to explain how come Circassians, a relatively isolationist and warring group of tribes, are responsible for the economic decay of the Middle East? Considering that their effect on history is pretty limited and insignificant compared to other actors in the region, this seems unlikely.

I remember when I first overlaid in my mind the map of the parts of the world mired in stagnation while Western Europe rose to power, and the areas of the world which got invaded by the Mongols. Was that alone enough to explain why Europe dominated the world? Still not sure.

I wouldn't say the greatest military genius he just was ahead of his time utilizing strategies from the steppe that had been there for many years but also many had not been used to it but it's fair to say he had the greatest military campaign in history

How could the British conquer India if it wasn't in a vulnerable state? The reason it was so easy is because of the battle of Plassey and the traitorous nawab, who wouldn't exist if the Mughals didn't control that area, pls do more research

Its so shocking how similar the east and west map today EXACTLY overlaps the previous Mongol Borders. Like places where the mongols didn't conquer like India and Japan are generally more democratic
