Understanding Social Justice Aditya: Social justice in America is a phenomenon that is uniquely American in the same way that American capitalism and Christianity vary massively when compared to even their Western European counterparts. However, since American media is ubiquitous in its power and presence globally, it is the template by which discourse is defined around the world. I have often looked at the concerns of the American liberal and conservative and found them eminently and evidently laughable. Firstly, I have never seen a true American left in my lifetime. I have read about stuff like the Great Railroad strikes and so on but the net result there has always been that big money won. Today's so-called 'socialism' in America is premised around undoing historical wrongs which opens up a whole new can of worms. For example, slavery in AMerica was based around the concept of Blacks quite literally being property of Whites, in a plantation economy, where such 'labour' was freely tradedf across the Atlantic from pre-modern states to a semi-modern one. It was made possible by the means of supply premised on the troops and ships of all colonial powers making it possible until Britain legislated to end it and used the Royal Navy to make it a reality. Reparations for that historical injustice have to take into account the present American economy, whose foundation was set precisely when that system ended (economically, not socially) after the Civil War and premised around the concept of freer (i. e. not bonded labour) and more mobile labour for the industrial North which defined the era of America's rise to global dominance from the mid-19th century to the 1960s. Post that period, America or rather American MNCs have grpwn by expanding into the other side of the world which were not part of the west as markets and supply sources and by maintaining the dollar as the reserve currency of exchange globally. In short, the AMerican economy today and has been since the Civil War been fundamentally premised on something that the racist stock of Americans didn't manage to perpetuate. SO how would you apportion reparations when most of the current and historical economy of America is and has been premised on principles which belied the premise of slavery? Sure, capitalists, most of them White, did use their money power to make the Blacks, Chinese and Latinos work for them for peanuts but that is a historical wrong that even the communist and socialist states did when they banned unions and democratic expression of opinion. Is another way way possible apart from dictatorial commies and exploitative capitalists? Sure, but it must have the means to perpetuate itself and grow instead of halting the discourse and the means of production in an economy altogether.
I'm not even gonna touch on the kind of gender issues that are prevalent because nobody stops you from being an eggplant, donut or unicorn except for the born again christians who are just a different manifestation of Luddite behaviour (paranoid about change) as the Left are. Both are up front in using technology but both deny and fudge up the science that makes it possible for their ideological ends (a rapture to be rid of the inconvenience of living next to non-whites or an anarchist state that in their minds would be Woodstock Forever rather than the Mad Max it would become.
Today's American crisis stems from the fact that automation has made most non-STEM educated citizens redundant to economic growth. Corporates and governments have weaponized social media into creating fractured opinions which makes the Right and Left fight each other over the scraps of the economy they have left to fight over. Nearly half of the American citizenry that never votes in an election understands this: whether consciously or otherwise. The other half pretty much seems deluded, be it the poorer Whites who parrot the Fox kind of narative of hey, the stock market's booming, ain't it? even if they can't profit off it or the LGBT(insert extended alphabet here) crowd that doesn't get that they are place-holders the big money uses to profit off their narrative by tapping into their market. College education has become terrribly overpriced and I think the non-STEM, arts major crowd's entitlement stems simply from the fact that they paid half a million or something to get a degree that should count for something when it doesn't. Actual insights and research into things like sociology, anthropology, history or say development economics has decayed into marketable courses for a post scarcity America that you pay an arm and a leg for and which doesn't end in employment or research because the money for that has been decreasing since the end of the COld War. America still has a massive output of research but that's more due to legacy reasons rather than any actual investment in learning since Fukuyama announced the end of history. To sum it up, the triggered Right and Left are the background static that prevents anything from really changing the status quo of the powers that be. By labelling those powers as fascist or commie, all that changes is the volume of the conversation, not the level of engagement with it. The number of Black billionaires in America is pitiful. The number of Whites descending into poverty (by Western standards) is rising rapidly. The privatization and deregulation of education is leading to more ideological colleges than educational ones and that is the demographic that makes this situation possible.

Here's my take on all this:
The right makes values and judgements by experience and what has gone before, the left by what they assume.
The right can be sympathetic to other people's plights, but has a scale of yourself and your family, people you care about, those worth caring about, and finally those who make their own fate. The left believes all wrongs should be righted (pun intended) with no compromises--but only as long as those wrongs fit their social narratives.
The right follows the 85% rule--you can fix all of a problem that is practical, but the remaining 15% goes into diminishing returns. The left is absolute, whatever offends them must be stamped out, not only it's power but it's presence, identity, and memory.
This leads to the first real problem of social justice--it's only thinking of perpetual revolution, not compromise, as to see your enemy as less than mortal evil or manage an outcome of their revolt leads inevitably to them same making deals and losing your moral compass problems they want to destroy.
This isn't new, I trace this back as far as the French Revolution, through the anarchists of the 19th century. This is an aspect of human nature--and what came before the Revolution? The zealots and martyrs of pre-industrial society, who at that time followed a king or faith.
Which leads to the second problem of social justice. The majority of these people are basically losers, without good jobs or families, and in dire financial straits. The winners are the ones preaching values--authors publishing books and politicians giving speeches. Even the grand old man Marx never had a meaningful job and was supported by others; that alone should have told people his ideas were pie in the sky dreams and not tested reality. So read history and these people sound like old school peasants, they did rebel but only in extreme circumstances, as they would be put down quickly by military force.
So what makes a modern social justice warrior? Someone who in a previous time would be toiling on a farm or or a foot soldier in an army. Who is enabled by modern society, with a social safety net so they don't starve and using technology to make their voice heard. Who has the zeal of the medieval militant but no faith. Who feels shortchanged by society, and rebels against their surroundings. Who rebels, and yet faces no real consequences for their actions. And who, rather than admit it's about themselves, turns their anger to a higher cause--a warped idea of justice.

So my Nonna and Nonno come from Calabria, the poorest region in Western Europe. They grew up with basically nothing. My Nonno lived in a house the size of 4 outhouses and my Nonna lived in a house not much bigger, my Nonna had no education since values of the people in Calabria at the time didn't believe women possible of being able to even having an education, they could never afford to go anywhere or buy much for their own pleasure in life. They had practically nothing. They got married sometime in their twenties and moved shortly afterward to America. They live in Rhode Island where they were able to find a house. They were able to work up and become just comfortable enough to live like every other American, despite them having barely enough money, barely the same amount of education, and they couldn't even speak English. Then my father and aunt were born, they were able to go to school, to live in a house of larger size, and had money to be able to afford daily pleasures. Then my dad grew up and now hold a really well paying job, he makes enough money that he has payed off his debt and house mortgage. He is able to afford so much for his family. I don't take for granted what we have and I know he sure as hell doesn't take for granted what he has, he worked so hard to be able to get where he is in life. Whenever I hear somebody praising something like communist, usually poorer people who put nothing into their lives, no effort into spending their time and worth as a person anywhere, who rely on others without realizing what they have is thanks to those people, and overall act spoiled and praising beliefs of demolishing a capitalist system. To those people all I have to share is the story of my Nonna, Nonno, aunt, and father, these are people I know who worked to be able to afford good things. I cannot stress how much of a spit in the face it feels to hear people complain without putting in the work or to talk about how terrible their lives are without having some perspective of others lives and experiences. I feel so fortunate to feel grateful, to put in effort with my life and what I do, to strive to be something greater, I do not wish to be like these people who only sit around to complain all day on their devices about how they have only had terrible things happen to them in a capitalist system. Fck you if you are that person, you are part of the issue.

I liked your videos until this. You're spreading a lot of red scare, anti-human propoganda and you killed me when you started talking about the ideal women's body shape and said then they wonder why their lonely and no one wants to marry them. Go talk to a human and stop viewing individuals as a number on your chalkboard to manipulate into fitting your worldview. Spread love and acceptance not domaint/submissive archetypes and pseudo intellegectual supported hate. Were all humans and throughout ALL of human history the powerful few have subjugated the many through violence or misinformation. Why is today different? Why are we special? stop being a mouth piece for a oppressive ruling class that has people like tucker Carlson perpetuating their talking points, you're smarter then that.
Who is really destroying society, the people asking to be treated as equal or a member of a privileged class that is spreading information on why those groups need to stop asking for rights and acceptance and then has to do the whole i went to college so I understand the plight of minorities/oppressed groups because the evil liberal teacher made me read a book that I already had preconceived notions on so I immediately discredited it (you didn't say that but thats how your im qualified to spread information on this section sounded)

I'm happy you admitted at the start of this video that you were center-right, because this video is definetly very biased. This is a highly cynical view of social justice with all the usual right-wing talking points about those issues. The overall attitude that all those people standing up for social inequality are all unreasonable babies is nonsense. Anti-social justice arguments are usually just a series of gaslighting statements about it, without going into too much detail about the issues. This works because the majority of the public don't really care or know very much about complex social issues, like say Trans or queer rights, so they just shrug it off as some crazies upset over nothing. Worse, people assume these people are not worth engaging with because they are unhinged. Nothing could be further from the truth.
I would also add that throwing in The Patriarchy alongside Satan and the Global Jewry is absurd and shows a pretty flat generalized view of patriarchy theory in feminist discourse, despite claiming in the video that you are well read in these topics.

Im not worried about the Social Justice movement, im sure it will die off soon, what im worried about is the backlash against Social Justice will be even worse and more radical
Facts bro, this has happened before, its human behaviour, ive also seen it in Anime LOL, who here has watched Attack on Titan among others, i can also attest to this as before i was never into political issues especially femenism, but when i got exposed to it, then got exposed to MGTOW, it all started clicking in my head, and lets just say im now very critical of Femenism and anything i see is femenist, femenazism which is basically modern day misandry is just that, misandry, women have more rights than men especially when it comes to law, but the amount of dumb male privileges they point out is hilarious, like something about a Car Seat being designed for men, a minor inconvenience if you can even call it that, but i can point out Child Support or Alimony.

I disagree on christianity. Search for trutb is demonstrably not a christian value. Just because something was accepted in the western civilization in the times when it was still dominated by christianity, doesn't mean it is a christian value. Most of the western civilization has nothing to do with christianity. Democracy was there in pagan Greece, which also was much more scientifically minded than later christian europe, western legal system comes from Romans who developed it while still pagan. Unusual focus on individual freedom arguably was there already in the times of indoeuropean herders conquering Europe. Roots of western civilization are in herder ancestors and pagan civilizations, influenced by earlier developments from middle east (mesopotamian mathematics, phoenician writing. Christianity mostly acted to stop progress and enforce totalitarian controll over ideas.

I suppose an important question is: Does social justice and its adherents merit the backlash? It's curious across history when we criticize many of the events, as no one ever seems to ask if the wages of sin were duly earned. I don't have the answer, but living in a time of tremendous acrimony from the left, feminists, social justice and critical race theorists, it's becoming increasingly easy to feel that whatever happens to them, they well deserve it.
It seems to me that we are stuck, perpetually, between two tyrants. The tyranny of the left is unbearable, the tyranny of the right is unbearable, and when they oppress each other the center is caught in the crossfire, is it some small comfort that as they oppress each other they are getting a historically justified measure of comeuppance?

Hammer home point is education and science is only as useful as the culture it is being taught to
See germans, everything modern came from there,
See current asia, where preexisting cultire which promotes cohesion, tolerance and think it through thoroughly rather then get ashamed
So far has put them in an upward trajectory but that have limits since shame is the ultimate knee capping
Similarly every place that has rags to riches had these prime elements, pre existing cohesion, coperation and contribution
Education breeds in such places
What america is going through the sjw movement actively discourages
And stress, trauma etc nakes persobality character and the wonders of life
If everyone is sheltered world would be a bland mess of shit
Just like hollywood is presently

I usually enjoy your well thought out arguments but in this case. It started ok but you quickly begin to conflate the extremes with the norm. Ie social justice=the left=Twitter. And the part about Christianity is the weakest part of your argument. The pros of Christianity you cite can be made for nearly any religion. And the idea that science grew as a result of Christianity. well it can easily be the opposite and science could only flourish after dismantling much of Christian philosophy in Western culture. This view has as much if not more evidence in its favor. The good points u make( and to be fair there are a number ) are lost in the one sided emotional portrayal. Tone it down, reflect, and I will too. Deal?
