'i read spiral dynamics'
so have i. i have it on a shelf next to me.
'i'm a level 8'
just so you know, most of the time when people claim to be a prestigue class, that is their conciet talking. you might be, but also you may want to believe you are something you are not.
for example you are reading lots of overviews of historical periods. this means you understand other people's understanding's of the period, but doesn't mean you understand the period itself. i heard somewhat recently that there was an archeologist who found something which was interpreted as a vessle for human sacrifices, meanwhile people who lived in a similar climate called this thing a press for making olive oil. i probably should have written down the source, but anyway. your interpretations are callibrated by your knowledge, experiance, community, but also things like value systems and artefacts.
you seem very arrogant, and you seem to act like you are more knowledgable than you are. this arrogance is a cover for your ignorance. you don't read 10 books from a culture or on a culture to understand the culture. even hundreds of books in, the more separated in time, space, and technology, the more unintelligible your problems are to them and vice versa.

I still don't think this is over, they will still try to kill Trump, and if they get that then thats a checkmate move for them. In similar situations (fall of republics) The side that kills a major political figure and gets away with it always wins. The nazis killed Walther Rathenau and got away with it. The italian facists killed Matteo Giancomo, and got away with it. In Rome the Optimates killed the Gracchi brothers and got away with it. Interesting however The optimates in Rome also killed Clodius, and did NOT get away with. The murder of Clodius was seen as abhorrent and let to the exile of Milo and was a blow to Cicero who defended him. And famously the conspirators killed Julius Caesar and most assuredly did NOT get away with it, The city was nearly burned down in a riot and they would all be hunted down over the next 5 years. This is the situation we find ourselves. The left is going to make a push against Trump or Elon and coyly shrug when we catch them. The question then is are we going to accept this murder like the murders of Walther Rathenau and Giancomo and welcome an oligrarchal dictatorshio run by the tech companies and investment banks, or are we going to refuse to accept it like the people did with Julius Caesar.

39: 37 getting rid of cars though would actually be one of the best things you can do but just banning them outright is insane. What I mean is like slowly passing laws and changing zoning to make cities more walkable add more dominance to trains and biking basically make transportation nicer, safer, and cheaper which unironically means you have to get rid of cars just look at the Netherlands, Italy, or Spain. Although I think like Rural towns benefit a lot from having cars, Urban areas get traffic, car accidents, air pollution, having to redesign massive parts of the city and just use way more space/land because of cars some notable example are Los Angeles and Houston. If you ask me a nice balance would be designing cities to be walkable/bike renting with good train services to get to other sections of the city and if you go to Rural areas you will be able to drive cars like that is just my thoughts I bet there is plenty of better ways to do these things but generally I think removing cars GRADUALLY would be a good thing

I will be a liberal to my dying breath, and Trump until the universe turned into protons however, when I first started listening to you, when I had never had before, I was like listen to more of the gloating. Because let’s be honest, Trump supporters have a right to gloat. So I was talking at the screen for a while and dashing you. But then you got to point in your comments where I aloud myself to listen to what you were saying. thought that makes a lot of sense. I have to tell you I appreciate it some of the underlying issues that are affecting the divide in America, honestly stating that they need on a bipartisan level. there will be Civil War. That is unless the economic dynamics for working poor dramatically change within the next 10 years or so. I will not be here for that Civil War, which hopefully won’t occur, but my 14-year-old son maybe. Anyway, was refreshing to hear some honest commentary. however, I continue to disagree with a great majority of what you say. Respect.

If you leave the debt as this abstraction, its insurmountable. If you actually pay attention to the details, a lot of it is owed to China, we can cancel most of that by simply by pointing out all the IP theft and currency manipulation and calling it even. The rest of the debt is mostly in T-Bonds, much of which is social security.
If we went to boomers and asked them to give up as much SS as possible in exchange for 0 taxes, we'd save a lot of money. If we went to millennials and zoomers and told them to give up their SS bonds and basically halved the SS tax (get rid of the hidden employer tax half, we be able to pay the bonds and have a big economic boost. Dropping interest rates would also help. If we can delete regulation and massively increase supply of basic materials (oil, food, lumber, etc) we can still save this thing.

I think blood would shed in scenarios where one side tries to use force to accomplish something and the other side responds in kind. Think about how Trump wants to deport illegal immigrants and how the left is not going to just sit there and watch rather I imagine them showing up in numbers to try to protect the illegal immigrants from being deported and people get hurt in the process. I could go on all day about other ways I believe its going to get violent in the next 4 years but I think this is going to be a slow agonizing process and I am convinced the only way to make it end is with a national divorce and get rid of the big government in Washington that everyone is fighting to take control of and then give more control to local communities.

China hasn’t attempted to invade Taiwan over tactical matters. The issue is that the only landing points are the most heavily guarded, and everywhere else would require them to need to act faster than any emergency response that Taiwan can use against that, which is not impossible because of the Taiwanese Air Force. China has the forces primed and ready for the invasion, their issue is just that they can’t apply them fast enough in most projections and have even attempted to start a couple of times only to be forwarded by jets alone out doing everything that they have. That is to say, China hasn’t done it because they don’t have the advantage they thought they had.

I'm a 30 year old Mexican-American man from Philly who for the first time voted against Democrats. I'm tried of the inaction and apathy displayed by the current administration. So many of our institutions and systems are completely broken but the ruling class would rather keep the status quo than actually change things. I don't like Trump and didn't vote for him before but enough is enough and if he is able to shake up the current order than at least something is happening. It's now up to us the American people to keep Republicans accountable and not to fall into the trap of only serving the few extreme wings of the populace.

The left aren’t really the war mongering type tbh so I doubt they are pushing for a civil war. Plus aren’t the left anti-gun What war are you winning being the anti gun side
Also you keep saying that war will eventually happen and how long it takes for wars to start, but a broken clock is right twice a day, so your predictions will eventually have the boy cries wolf effect, eventually you may be right but look how long you was wrong for.
Not much different from an economist calling for a recession every year.
Do you have any leftist friends Ask them are they ready for war, bet they’ll say umm no lol

27: 33 I completely agree. The left or at least the far left is simply a self destructive ideology because it was designed to exist in a perfect world. Going all the way back to Karl Marx with the Communist Manifesto, he said that he believes that Capitalism will end with the working class eventually overthrowing the upperclass and creating a perfect communist utopia. The only problem is that utopias can never exist in this world. Marxist ideologies were designed to work in a perfect world where nothing can go wrong. It wasn't made for a world where there is actual struggle.

48: 15 IQ tests and marshmallow tests. The trick is to make sure everyone on the board has a role where they can be fairly content. We also need to each be convinced of the truth about theirself. Whether we end up in high or low responsibility, we want to know that the system isn't holding us back to rob/enslave/exploit us. We all want some assurance that the positions of greater consequence involve greater demands and greater risks--not just greater rewards.
Maybe there's some sort of loyalty/fealty tests we can use to screen psychopaths out of sensitive positions

The US had a debt to GDP ratio after WW2 which was about the same as today. NOW. the spending was cut after the war ended - the military - which is not the case today. Today it will be extremely difficult to cut spending. Still, the inflation of the era up to the 1980s, was able to get rid of the debt by inflating that debt away. The debt MIGHT be able to handled today, as it was after WW2. So, don't be so glib about the problem of the debt. The debt will destroy us only if other thiings happen, like war, no Medicare or Soc Security reform, a black swan event, etc.

Rudyard,
Greetings from Mexico, Rudyard. Love your content and insights- The people have indeed spoken. But I find the cult of personality surrounding Donald Trump somewhat disturbing. Charismatic demagogues from Alcibiades in the Athenian republic to Hugo Chavez in Venezuela and AMLO in Mexico have done more harm than good throughout history. The Founding Fathers set up the electoral college to protect the nation from the tyranny of the majority. They modeled the Republic after Sparta, and not Athens as many people believe. Keep up the good work!

One critical aspect of American and previously British culture is our ability to recognize our mistakes without dwelling on them.
This was disrupted through identity politics and the mainstreaming of airing out historical grievances. Instead of everyone begrudgingly moving along and trying to do better.
My specialization for my education degree (lol) was history, and while it’s pretty clear our school’s textbooks needed to tone down the propaganda, they just replaced it with their propaganda. At least before it was unifying instead of divisive.

1: 07: 31 Yes, and the Federal Reserve and other major American financial institutions are run by a nomadic people who see themselves an invincible semi-divine race chosen by God to rule the world, so when White folks (or any Gentiles, elite or otherwise, ask them to make the money printer go BRRRRRRRR, they're more than happy to do so, because on a cultural/spiritual level, they know that infinite money printing, particularly when founded on nothing, is the easiest way to make slaves of any nation, no matter how strong, because it fuels decadence.

You are 100% right on medical guild system.
We must follow the law of supply and demand. Increase the supply of the medicine or service and/or reduce demand. Prices will drop
1. End or reduce dramatically medical licensure requirements. Let the citizen choose as Friedman used to say.
2. Limit patents to 5 years. Or, everyone has the right to all patents for 15 years, but must be 5% to patent owner.
Insurance companies need prices to be high otherwise you don't need their product which is insurance not medical services.

The relationship between J6 & the feast of Epiphany or as we call it in the Christian East, Theophany, has been on my mind since my conversation.
As the feast is for the baptism of Christ I thought it must have been some sort of baptism for the nation. Baptism in one sense represents death, death to the world and to satan. Now I'm beginning to think that it truly was a baptism, and we did experience death. 2024 was the ascension of the political body from the water, a nation now clothed in garments of light. A nation clothed in Christ.

I, too, am waiting for the other shoe to drop. I wrote a book predicting a civil war upon the election of the next anti-imperialist President. I was surprised to see Kamala concede so readily. The imperialist and deep state interests behind her are surely either hoping to co-opt Trump's administration again, or biding their time for something else. It's also possible that the wars breaking out across the Third World are starving them of the superprofits necessary to carry out a coup attempt at home.

I think that your point about Black men’s issues is directionally correct. I see the hollowing out of the Black Middle Class in the Rust Belt as more pronounced than even the White Middle Class. They were betrayed by Obama, and even more so by the PMC in Progressive Democrats. I think that Black Intersectional Feminism has broken any remaining loyalty to the Dems for many of them. If the Right takes back masculinity, we will win this demographic in perpetuity
