I was a left leaning person in the 80s
And i don't mean politically, i decided to be reactionary to evangelical hypocrisy and be an edgelord dressed in panda makeup.
i made up my own religion:
There was a real god that created reality as it exists where everything has a good and bad aspect and everything balances out
But then aliens came down a preached that
now is always a mistake perfection is always tomorrow don't do anything today put it off for tomorrow
But because now is never tomorrow you end up never doing anything, and perfection is unachievable and unrealistic because every one has a subjective opinion and most of these ideals can't function in reality
And they did this to peacefully empty the planet and settle it themselves. But it backfired because people are hypocrites will always find loopholes. all this did was teach them that they can get used to not having hedonic feast or famine mind sets and it saves up food for the famine
The positive aspect of future perfection is to try harder if you make mistakes
and so the thing about putting things off till tomorrow is that if you have a calendar you can actually do something on a date that you can keep track of,
So the aliens outlawed keeping track of the solar and lunar cycles
But all this did was divorce the months from the moon so the zodiac is off and we have fake months with artificial holidays
The alien gods thought we would all become monks and follow dogmas with paranoid obsessive compulsion to the letter of the law, but everything malicious idea they had also had a positive aspect we would accidentally follow because everything balances out there can't be only sadness because it contrasts with happiness and manifests into reality through contradiction
And my religion was egalitarian, every being was equal, so gods(aliens) were not worth worshipping
The true god was the source of all things and doesn't need sacrifice, the gods who demanded sacrifice were parasites, but then every thing can become your god if you put your focus on it
So in order to not let things have power over you the best thing to focus on is (the transcendence
And the all)
so that you selfishly worshipped the true god to avoid exploitation by fake ones, you can't be your own god either because everyone is equal to you because god as the all source and made them as well
How the realistic god created things was how the observable universe seamed to be created, a singularity expanding, so god either is the singularity or a higher being imagining a singularity
From outside of reality, so god by definition doesn't show up inside of reality except that all of reality comes from god so possibly if god is omnipotent then to look anywhere is to see god to hear is to listen to god, so god is both beyond all things and within them

It's quite simple actually.
The Left has invested itself deeply in solidarity politics for decades now. This is a points-based morality which requires never admitting fault or error. EVER. Because any such admission is a point against the movement, giving ammo to the enemy. This requires not only turning a blind eye to anything one's side does, but when called on it by the OPPOSITION, it also means ENDORSING whatever is done no matter how heinous.
So for example, when BLM riots took the lives of more black Americans than police did in 2020, the Progressive Left locked ranks and refused to address the problem for fear of splitting the movement and losing influence. It wasn't until BLM leaders were found to be embezzling the money for themselves (and thus, harming the movement) that it suddenly mattered what they were doing.
As the general public has soured on the Progressive Left more and more, the response has not been to clean house - that would go against solidarity politics. Instead, the focus has been instead to try and paint the opposition as even worse. Use of the term fascist to describe even center-Left politics went into overdrive. Progressives who had already engaged for years in purity spirals, severing ties to friends and family, began looking for heretics in their own ranks and re-writing social dogma on the premise that there's no such thing as too radicalized.
Problem with this is it caught the attention of the general public. Almost everyone now knows someone who is a victim of Hard Left Cancel Culture. Denying that it happens doesn't work, yelling at people in the streets doesn't work. Biden's wholesale endorsement of the Progressive Left, along with his insistence on deconstructing social norms, led the bulk of the electorate to re-elect Trump rather than put Biden's veep into the Oval Office.
The reaping is done. The sowing is underway.

30: 01 stop and just listen to yourself and anyone who is in the comments as well-
You sort of sound like the shrill leftist but prescribe yourself as right, I have different thought your extreme behaviours are both mentally ill haha!
Seriously though you sound like you say they they they a lot but don’t seem to recognise the same behaviour and denialism that say maga and right supporters do. I’m going to accuse American evangelical behaviours instead. As a country the people have always been abit XXXL in anything you do. In the start you said institutions tend to be left and then say they’re insane but to have a sense of organising and pragmatism needs to be level headed, unlike a trade war that your very stable leader is presenting - not knocking conservatism but your factionalism is making you clutch at the nuttiest behaviours.
For example having GOP lawmakers wanting criticism of trump to be classed as mental illness in Minnesota. Get a grip ffs.
Europeans just look at it and cringe and then have JD Vance lecture us on free speech eh!
It’s appreciated you’re love of European past achievement but honestly you take a star spangled crap of an angle on it and forget it’s the place of the age of reason egalitarianism- with this said though American super mighty power and exceptionalism had been a standard that has been great for many decades. You and extreme leftists are the same. You lost your way with your factionalism and are ruining it for yourselves and the world.
Where are the centrists haha

You really need move and live outside America for a few years. You sound similar to many Americans who are completely delusional about reality. When you refer to the past you talk about what the people believed and when your refer to the present you talk about what the ruling class believed. As if the ruling class in the past Didn’t benefit from the beliefs of the masses which they absolutely did. You are irrational towards modern society because its too close to home. You remind me of the people saying that work is a psyop from industrialization and that people in the past worked 10-20 hours/week. When in reality the people in the past had to do much more work that was both much harder to do and not for profit so they dont count it as work (eg making their own clothes, getting water from wells etc. What you are doing is just adding to the left-right worldview split by bulding hyperbolic narratives that are in-fact delusional. You, and social media producers like you are the singular and fundamental cause behind the cultural upheaval and division of the modern day. Its funny how you grand father into your analysis the red pill blue pill stuff as if its not the singular literal cause of the entire dynamic. You sell divisive narratives because they get clicks and make money, yet your skeptical analysis is directed at everyone but yourself.

How do city people cope with living where they are (Assuming they're not leftists themselves) having a non-left enclave they're actively a part of in some way. Like extended family who all happen to live in the same city. Or by a having sane religious identity they're serious about and meet other people through. Also by interacting with other non-insane people online who don't live in a leftist-bubble. Reading lots about other cultures, time-periods, and good fiction by actual good authors also helps.
One of my guilty pleasures is Japanese samurai dramas (the ones actually from Japan to be clear. When you live in a leftist city. run by a small number of cultural elites with centralized power. especially if it's in a large leftist majority-run state. a lot of those character archetypes in samurai dramas and the reputation/shame-based society that is being explored in them aren't so much as completely foreign as they are weirdly familiar. Which makes it rather ironic when Japanese samurai dramas do a better job exploring why that type of society actually sucks a lot while Hollywood seems to be incapable of it. I've probably watched more foreign films/TV series in the past decade than I have American ones at this point.

Mr. Lynch, I watched this video last night (3 19 25, and while doing so decided that, IMO, this is your magnum opus. Over the past 20 hours, it's contents have been percolating within in a manner that hasn't happened at this level since prior to Nov '24. Your text editing was significantly improved, your cadence and topic flow was consistent. The information, even nearing a month old since your writing/narration is more blatant in reality, at present. I appreciate your efforts to incorporate both physical violence and bureaucratic/lawfare violence in this production. As I've just recently been made aware of a Texas legislation which aims to target unsuspecting men w/o evidence to be tied to pre-natal child support, Vivek Ramaswamy's gubernatorial ambitions with this being one of his objectives, also, and US House Speaker Mike Johnson having appeared on CNN openly declaring war on single men to financially support women and their poor life decisions whom they've never interacted are developments which muddies the water about the separation of left and right and the conclusion that there exists an all out war on the individual.

So glad you pointed out that there is a Boomer blue pill situation. SO many seem to think this is just bratty kids going ape doo-doo. My parents are in their 60's and are full-in on the blue cult. And why is exactly what you say it is. They're ignoring the last 40 years of decline and radicalization of their team. They're clinging to something familiar and deciding to ignore the evil.
My parents used to not trust the government with anything. Now they wear 2 masks to go anywhere and just got their 12th booster. Oh, and orange man is apparently just reincarnated mustache man. And anyone voting for him should have had their voting rights stripped (including me, their own daughter. But hey, if I don't honor and respect that stance I'M the problem )
It's totally bizarre but seeing it as them wanting to just live out their childhood wanna-be hippie hopes with their heads in the sand actually makes sense. It's not good, it's a failure on their part, but it makes a sort of psychological sense.

When you asked which leftist figures still make videos, 2 come to mind. Neil Degrass Tyson and Professor dave explains.
Both fall into the science liberal category and both unironically politically illiterate. But I honestly think Professor dave is even worse. His politics make absolutely no sense. He's supposed to be very scientifically educated, but he can't understand the basic concept and purpose of border security.
You should see his video on Trump's congress hearing where he talks about the money wasted on trans gender mice studies.
He tries to defend these ridiculous studies and keeps falling into the trap of thinking Trump is going to coup the country and suck all the money opwards to oligarchs, completely ignoring when liberal politicians like soros, Clintons and bidens and pelosi did this. A complete double standard.

Facts don’t care about feelings. True. Forever true. But the left and historically proves that feelings don’t care about facts. It’s why humanity always gets off course from ultimate truths and facts. Both statements are true. When the common person can nuance feelings and facts with balance then maybe something humane for society while respectful to the individual can exist. The current political climate lives on the ends of a spectrum but that is because the representation is loudest. The common person with nuanced facts and feelings needs to have the loudest voice and the most influence in society. Just my thoughts. They’re idealistic, but hey. might be an idea - something to strive toward as another option to get away from the left vs right mainstream climate - a clearly broken paradigm and a Hegelian dialectic.

I don't think there will be significant blood. I think they unconsciously understand their time is over. They are discouraged, disspirited, their morale is low. If you can deny reality altogether, you can deny that you have lost, and I think they will deny it to the bitter end.
Now, this doesn't mean that there aren't going to be earthquakes upcoming that make the last four years look positively quaint. I am just doubtful about our ability to predict them or even their general outlines. What happens for instance when AI takes over EVERY customer interface job Because it is quite likely they will. The really dangerous tsunamis are the ones you cannot see coming at you. Emergent phenomena you never knew was possible until it happens.

Damn i was 14 years old in 2016 thats wild now i feel old. I remember cheering for trump even then i was so happy once he won and watched some wild history unfold since then. Unfortunately division has grown and my nation iv had so much pride for has been beat up and tarnished by its own people. The left has created a nation of right is wrong and wrong is right and claims to fight for democracy but then just places a candidate in the election without any democratic process. I hope it never comes to a war or extreme violence and I hope Trump can fix this nation for good but I just don't know if 4 years will be enough to fix this steaming pile the left has created.

The Left is not going to fight in a civil war. They are incapable even if they wanted to. It's only two months into Trump's term and he is still in the honeymoon phase. For all we know the Left can stage a comeback in 2026. The future of politics will revolve around AI and will split the conservatives. On one side will be the religious conservatives (which would include Rudyard) and on the other side will be Elon Musk secularists. The religious will get early victories but the secularists will win in the end. It's weird that Rudyard doesn't care about Palestine, and seems to avoid commenting on all the noticing going on lately.

I was a democrat my entire life since I was born in 86. After the left tried to run the criminal, lying, cheating, stealing, Hillary Clinton that nobody wanted I woke up and started to see how the left did not care about us people, they gave Hillary the questions to debates, they all lined up behind her even though many wanted Sanders, After they abandoned democracy and the people, I said screw you. I am voting Trump in protest.
Trump for all the hate and grief he gets is just a symptom of the corruption and sickness that is the real major disease which is known as WASHINGTON DC.

Liberal and Conservative started out as valid points of view backed by strong rational. But Left and Right no longer have any connection to those viewpoints. They have been twisted into boogymen by Mass Media Assholes who have been PAID VERY WELL FOR SEWING DISCORD. The irony is that we are on the same side. in the same way that poor whites and poor blacks hate each other, but have more in common than with any other sector of society. The power elite keep their position in society by making sure we don't cooperate. If you want to know who's driving the shit, look at who benefits.

Why DJT is getting away with all of this, is because everyone on the left is waiting for someone else on the left to do something about it. Or if you're not on the left, you're waiting with some magical entity with more power than you to do something about it. It's like the sock on the floor in a house full of lazies that everyone walks by but refuses to pick up. It don't work that way. It is on y ou, every one of us that is a y ou, to do something about this. Look in a mirror, and y ou are the ultimate authority where the buck stops here.

I have my conspiracy theory about what is going on nowadays. It is all by design to radicalize people on both sides, erode the middle slowly. It comes from the media, politicians and education. This brings violence and authoritarianism will be at our door step after that because people want to feel safe. Trump could present himself as the solution to the violence and people will vote for it because Trump knows how to reach people. Im a fan of the President do not get me wrong, im just trying to think outside the box

I think you may need to understand or at least point out the cognitive dissonance in which there are multiple lens to perceive a single historical event. Like there are different tools for different jobs. The feminist, Marxist, environmental, democratic, or Capitalist arguments all view/ measure separate metrics happening within a singular event. Each has a different arch of history and political lens that needs to be viewed on it's own basis. Not lumped into a generic/ generalized left lens

The left has spent too much time while they were in power with Biden gaslighting American people saying everything's fine while the world is on fire, changing the societal norms between gender and disrespecting the boundaries set by our country's border and immigration laws. So now, they found themselves trapped by their lack of vision beyond hating Trump & his supporters. The left has boxed themselves where any which way they move, it's a lose-lose situation for them. I'm glad for them.

You should start getting your information about Israel. FROM HAARETZ. THE ISRAELI VERSION OF THE NEW YORK TIMES.
You’re so propagandized
You’re more propagandized about Israel in America
Then Israel’s are in Israel
Haaretz is constantly reporting with receipts, proving the things you say completely false
You trust in Fox News and the daily wire etc
You don’t seem to understand, mainstream media left, and right are the same thing
