Here are my honest impressions (yes, someone who has actually used the device, imagine that. First, for me it was initially awkward not having a track pad and getting use to touching the screen for selections. The other argument I have seen frequently against the iPad Pro has been the lack of the addition of OSX, which actually makes sense if you stop to think about it. OSX is NOT a mobile OS, iOS is. therefore, this device runs iOS. We already learned from Windows 8 what happens when you try to cram a desktop OS into a mobile environment. Sure, you can't run full blown Photoshop on an iPad, but, at least its not trying to be something its not; what is more, you can still do a ton of photo editing on an iPad.

I find it amazing that the iPad pro is essentially Apples answer to the surface pro and yet the surface pro was never mentioned. When reviews are down on an Microsoft product or android product, Apple is always mentioned. The iPad pro keyboard isn't even backlit and the price it of the pencil and keyboard is crazy, yet no mention of this. Are people scared to mention Apples cons on there products? I feel at times that Apple is like the emperor wears no clothes. I respect wired but I have to be fair. It's just ridiculous.

Logitech makes a back lit keyboard for the iPad Pro. It is 10 dollars cheaper and it covers the entire ipad. I have the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil with mostly all of the Microsoft apps and apple productivity apps and this this is pretty close to laptop replacement on this level. Coupled with iCloud, Microsoft onedrive and this pad is very solid for what it can do. It just needs the developer support to stand behind this device. It's been a whole year and this ipad just wont stop performing.

It just show Microsoft's Surface Pro is a real threat to portable laptops/tablets/etc. Wait until they make a thinner/lighter model with great battery life and a fanless cpu. They are getting closer and closer to achieve greatness! ( btw: Surface Pro is a marvelous piece of architectural engeneering )

I noticed you conveniently left out the cost of the $99 pencil and $170 keyboard even though you admit its just a really big iPad without them. that takes the iPad Pro to well over $1000 for a device with only 32GBs of storage on it. why not mention this in your review?

i don't understand ipad's or tablets. They don't add anything to my phone and laptop. I actually have a samsung tablet but i have no idea what to do with it. Anyone got some actually useful tablet tips that makes it do things i can't do either on my laptop or phone?

Look if you do love keyboard shortcuts you are nit out of luck because all he ctrl shortcuts on the windows pc works on this as well except instead of typing control you type command. I am not able to say any more because in have found way too many shortcuts

If you are a pro 32 or 64 gb will do nothing for you. I don't understand why Apple refuses to let people have the storage capacity they want. Right now this is just an expensive toy that will add almost nothing to your professional environment.

Looks like you have a bunk sensor or something in your camera. Notice the glitch at 1: 58, its at your hair line, and then the same location when zooomed in at 2: 01. I imagine you are filming with a GH4 and cropping the 4k. Sucks either way: (

loose the stylus ( unless your an artist and really want to pain on a screen )
add a full operating system
then I'm in ( ps I'd loose the stylus myself within 2 days, but need a full operating system please)
