This technology seems like it is particularly good for documentaries and maybe even reality shows. But really they could use it on everything. You could keep filming movies exactly as you do now but just add this so that the viewer has the option of panning around. It would be so awesome to watch Game of Thrones like this. You would get to see all the people working on the film or you could just watch the movie as is. They could sell it like a premium option. If a movie was $20 I could easily see myself paying $40 for this option.

I wish there were no cuts, but this is such a cool video. Honestly, The Lion King was on the bottom of my -to see- Broadway shows but after watching this it has definitely moved up a few spaces. This was very cool to watch and I hope people who aren't theater people see this and feel the nedd to see this show. (BTW I had to search this video after I saw it as an ad on a different video I was watching because I really felt the need to leave this comment)

The correct way to do this video would be to place the 360 rig in a seat, so it would be just like being there. No cuts, unless they are options for the viewer to select a different viewpoint. This is like the early days of 3d movies, and directors swishing the camera around like they normally do, and making everyone sick.

When I was in New York I spontaniously baught a Ticket for the sunday mattinee and I cried so hard when the animals streamed in through the audience it is so immersive and emotional with this music and the lyrics. It's a brilliant show!

Honestly, the cuts really showed you what you wanted to look at, and this was incredible. I loved re-living this fantastic show without paying $200 for another ticket. you can watch this 100 times and still see more details

It was amazing seeing this in real life, one of the most immersive and beautiful experiences I've had in my life.
But this video didn't really do it for me, with all the cutting and - of course - low quality.

The play is so brilliantly done. Absolutely powerful. I had high hopes for this 360 experience but the cuts were dizzying in my VR headset. Not at all suited for that medium.

Of course I am in tears. Nothing like being front row right after it opened. Squealing as the animals ame down. VR and 360 are not exactly for me.
