They need to sell mods that allow you to strap the controller to your hand so you can open and close your hands in VR. You could pick up and throw objects more naturally. As the touch controllers are right now, I would be scared to let a friend try a game which involves throwing objects. They might release the controller instinctively, and the wrist strap may not hold in in place. This is still an enthusiast market, so a lot of people would be willing to strap it to their hands even if it takes an extra 20 seconds. But I can see why they went for a more friendly device. An optional secure strap would have been a good idea.

So, I just wanna mention how impressed I am with the capacitive sensors on the buttons. It's not just a touch sensor, it's like a proximity sensor, but a binary one. Your virtual fingers bend and straighten, when your finger is actually like a few millimeters off the buttons, not even touching them. It's really wild! And it means the virtual fingers actually move closer to how ur finger is really moving. not just auto-snapping the second u aren't touching a button, it waits till it's a certain distance.

Then i cant understand why the new Occulus Rift S dont use the same good Occulus Touch? Instead we can use the Occulus Touch we already use,
they force us to buy a new one Oculus controllers and the worst about is, they are not so accurate in tracking like the old one. I cant understand Oculus!

Yes, let's make it immersive! Get the touch controllers for ONLY $200 and to make it even more immersive get 2 additional sensor cameras for only $85 each! Anyone who buys this crap is begging to be ripped off.

Well tbh, you can't open your hands without risking it falling down, you can't lift up only your Pinky or Ring finger.
Plus it gets tiring to make a semi fist with your hands for as long as 20 minutes.

I can't say anything bad about this, because it is a brilliant work by Oculus. But maybe. maybe there could've been a huge touchpad on the top, just like on the Vive's. Touch v2, anyone agrees?

-They make something called 'hand presence' possible in VR. -
You mean, what the Vive had on release 8 months ago?

Wow - it's good to see that Oculus have spent their FB $billions bribing tech websites to run adverts for them
