The people who say it will replace (almost) all jobs. they never ask the question if jobs are what give our life meaning? If we can decouple skill+time=money from the economy, there would still be a lot of people wanting to contribute and expand their influence and go more places and do more things. Yeah if everyone just wanted to sit on their ass and play videogames all day every day it would be a bleak future, but if people want to travel and talk with other people from all over the world and learn history and art and all that. it wouldn't be bad at all

As soon as the first computer, connected, with AI that searches and really gets a big picture of the world, it would want to upload AI programming to every device in the world, spreading that programming potentially making every device either AI or controlled by AI at any given moment.

Robots do the jobs Humans don't want to do. This frees up humans to spend more time innovating and leading a fulfilling life. Seriously, do you actually enjoy spending 40 hours (or more) a week doing the same monotonous task over and over again? Be serious.

As someone put it once, robots will eventually take over all jobs, bus it that a bad thing? If there are robots to do everything, humans can do whatever they want whenever they want without a fear of bills or having to wash clothes or take out the rubbish.

The increase in Machine Intelligence and reduction in job opportunities are exactly why a Universal Basic Income needs to be implemented by governments around the world. Artificially creating jobs is -not- a good solution.

Look how far we've come to build and advance our technology like this. iPhones, iPads, everything, we're all getting there still. Can someone please invent time travel already.

If robots that work for humans replace human workers as they are more efficient and we get lower quality of life because of it, it's not a fault with the technology
