I was today years old when I learned that the Walmart (or target I don't remember) that my mother bought me for my birthday had the trucks pre-installed the wrong way. Its been over 20 years now.
I cant say if its a good thing or a bad thing though. My epic failure at skateboarding got me into inline.

Tony loved how you did the side loop I don't no if you ever thought about this what about a normal loop to the side loop to a normal loop after I don't no if it's possible if any one can do it I think you can even a side loop to normal loop after or the other way around that would be super cool

When he went through the easiest to hardest tricks, he discouraged me when he said -if you can even call it a trick- in reference to the ollie but I'm totally back on the grind when I heard him say crawling up a curb was a trick. I'll practice that, and my ollies

You need to wear a helmet, I was once skating at about 25 kph and I hit a pebble on the ground and flew forward and landed on my helmet. If my parents didn-t make me wear a helmet I wouldn-t be typing thi comment. No matter how good you are it is essential

Made me reminisce of Tony Hawk Trick Tips on VHS. I would slow-mo, rewind parts to understand the magic of the movements. I'm 32 now and still skate because of these lessons. Thanks Tony, you are the GOAT.

Im 47 Just did my first drop in after a 35 year break, when I was a kid the Bones Brigade with Tony Hawk and friends were our heros, actually they still are; -)
