One of my biggest problems with the Ant Man movies is that its own internal logic seems so inconsistent, even just by watching this. When Ant Man is big, he has to use more energy and gets tired out faster. That makes sense. But the lab is powered by upscaled AA batteries? So does that mean there is more battery acid etc. inside, not just enlarging the atoms or particles that make it up?
To produce more energy, enlarging the batteries would have to create more battery acid, and more matter. But when people get shrunken to the quantum level, they retain all of their exact physical details, despite being smaller than a lot of particles. (So they are made up of the same number/amount of particles, just shrunken)
And when the car shrinks, how does it keep up with the bigger car? If the car shrinks to 1/50th of its usual size, and scaling batteries up makes more battery acid, downscaling the car would mean it had less gasoline. meanwhile the smaller wheels would have to complete 50x more rotations to go the same distance as one regular-sized tire rotation. So the small car's wheels would have to spin MUCH faster than they were before. Not to mention the loss of friction/traction because of the smaller surface area of the tires contacting the road and such.
I don't need these movies to be realistic, just consistent. Otherwise I can't figure out the rules.

Ive never once evr heard a (genuine) special effects -expert- talk at such length about non technical things, or ramble on about their gender bias in any way. -I really love how the empire strikes back showcases Han Solo as a Man doing manly things. blah blah manpower, blah blah Han should get more attention. - #overpromoted #sjw #tuntycalk

lmao I live in the bay area and AMATW made me, my sister, and my mom actually stop and think if we'd ever actually gone to lombard street (the answer was no, wen't the next weekend and it's not worth it if there's 1000 people, I suggest driving by the bottom to get a quick pic then go to Pier 39)

Ant-man and the wasp was a pretty good film. However one thing I have a problem with is that they treated Scott Lang-s character a bit dumber compared to the first movie where he-s an expert thief to where he barely knows nothing at all.

My biggest issue with Ant-Man is if he gets relatively stronger as he shrinks, he should get relatively weaker as he grows. This doesn't happen though. He gets much stronger when he's Giant-Man. Seems like an oversight to me.

It is amazing how far CGI has come why can-t we get Ghostbusters 3 With the young original actors but doing voiceovers similar to the 2009 video game. But have someone who has a similar voice for Harold Ramis.

The effects were great overall but some of the de-aging still doesn't feel right, 2: 54 just looks weird to me (way too smooth, it's almost like the face is motion blurred but the rest of his body isn't)

It's crazy how much more fake the young Hank Pym looks once they break it down in the moment. Credit to her and her team though, it looks perfect when you watch these movies.

I felt really bad for Ant man in his 2nd movie when he tried his best to save wasp's mom but wasp and her dad didnt treat him really well due to what happened in civil wars
