Bar-headed geese are the SR-71's of the avian world, soaring to 26, 000 feet. To learn how their bodies function so well at altitude researchers raised a gaggle of geese, introduced them to a wind tunnel, strapped tiny masks to their beaks and sensor packs on their backs

Something unbelievable about migratory birds is how it is possible for their metabolism to supply energy for such a looooong (distance as well as duration) journey. How their metabolism supply energy for each wing flapping at a rate as fast as the bird uses the energy for continous flapping so that the energy are always ready to be used for the next flapping and never depleted.

So you raise them fixated on a 20 year old as their parent, conduct a 1 year experiment on them and then what happens to them for the rest of their 40 year lifespan?
