What you seem to be unaware of is that the heart/gut/intuition (call it what ever you want) is your best method of detection. Always has been and always will be. The problem with societies in first world countries these days is they forgot how to use it. Discernment people. Learn it, again. Some already do, empaths, and autists are born masters of this and can be again when they focus on it. time for everyone else to catch up if you want to be sure what you are seeing hearing is in fact the truth.

Deepfake technology will be doubly harmful: It will allow false evidence to possibly help convict an innocent person, and it can realistically be used as an excuse by guilty people to get out of legitimate evidence (-That's not me-. We need to find a way to combat this ASAP before it becomes a SERIOUS problem!

Step 1: Coin the term -Deep Fake- and market to the masses
Step 2: Incriminating video surfaces of powerful leader involved in criminal activity
Step 3: Powerful Leader claims it is a -Deep Fake-
Step 4: Powerful leader evades responsibility for the crime under the guise of it being a -Deep Fake-

To counter deep fake is to release a law that would put you in jail, if you get caught making and release a deep fake video. And to use this technology/software video that gets produce has a some type of tracking is inside the video. That-s fair

thats what people that are going down in the sealed indictments are gonna be howling. but the tech exists to prove the evidence is real. they are going down. good job wired for doing your part in putting it in the modern parlance

Real video evidence gets released and the criminal screams -deepfake-, this is what concerns me the most. It should be easy to determine with just your eyes, video editing software or some new deepfake algorithm maybe?

How do you know if this kind of technology hasn't been exploited to the fullest potential by governments? What an overage person possess is nothing compared to the secretive advancements that governments have.

I hate the word AI. There's nothing intelligent about it. It's just algorithms. The only intelligence is human intelligence and until we understand how that works, we won't be able to simulate it!

-Photoshop: - -Deepfake software will never be as convincing as I am. -
-Deepfake Software: - -Hello, this is Photoshop, It saddens me greatly to announce my sudden resignation. -

everyone-s worried about the negative implications. but if we can do faces we can do voices. and if we can do both we can bring Freddie Mercury back, which I see as an overall win.
