If brain-to-brain or brain-to-machine works in such a binary way, then how there is technology capable of doing complex tasks such as flying an airplane or creating full sentences? Surely the brain doesn't have specific areas for each letter/syllable/sound

I wonder how many journos actually put in this amount of effort. With all the stuff I see incorrectly reported online, it makes me suspect corruption-especially when things get political.
