Wyatt Knox, special projects director at the Team O'Neil Rally School, takes a look at driving scenes from a variety of television shows and movies and breaks down how accurate they really are. How did they make the bus jump off the bridge in Speed? Could they actually get to 88 miles-per-hour in a parking lot in Back to the Future? Can a sports car really drive through a building like in Furious 7?

I remember i was in a chase is one of my open world racing games i was chased by atleast 3 to 4 people and i have to use every skill just to escape the peeps chasing me i drift i jump and purely made some tricks like doing a 180 drift near a jump to alloe me to have a chance to escaoe the chaser cause im on the other side while he is on the other side but since it was 4 people and the map was the whole america so i had to use small areas ditches mountains and even parking lots i remember i lost them somewhere on miami and yes its just in a game.

As far as diehard caprice classic cab making the jump. i had a caprice for my first car. I can attest to the ability of these cars to take a hit. Bounce thru a ditch, three feet in the air, and a barb wire fence, and go right back to driving down the road. Its what you get when you have a car built like a truck

Loved Tokyo drift so much. The explanation of the rest of the series makes me want to watch the rest now. I am not a fan of action movies normally but these build on each previous movie. Thanks so much for the excellent background info, so great to know these are not CGI.

12: 52, was loving this until he said the Speed bus jump was fake. It is very well known that the jump itself was done completely practically and for real. The CGI'd that section of the 105 out but the jump itself is not fake.

13: 30 I saw how they did this with a tow cable on a pully, nobody was in the car and it took a few tries and the one that made it in the movie was the last one with the very last car they had.

Wyatt Knox as a reviewer was great. Plenty more driving scenes for him to come back and review. You could really tell he enjoyed the process and it made for a really enjoyable presentation.

When will Wired make a video for a Teacher Breakdown? No love for the teaching profession? Teachers can't be experts?
I went ahead and made my own video because they haven't yet.

Question for people a little more educated in stuff than me.
he says that a dry cell battery is safer for when cars collide, so why do we not just use dry cell batteries in cars?

In the Back to the Future clip I was hoping he was going to say it's fake because a Delorean actually needs to hit 89mph to jump through time.
