Put aside this mans great knowledge, camera and cinematography skills. Have you ever tried to grow just one species of fungi, let alone film it. It is really hard to get these guys to grow like they do in nature. Louie is a genius with a great respect for nature.

If you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor and watch Fantastic Fungi on Netflix. Not just for the time lapse animations, but the whole thing is one of the best documentary I've ever seen. And it will also change your opinion on a few things I'm sure; )

7: 43 The end of one cycle, the beginning of another. I love the frame in which only a tiny skull remains; new life begins sprouting beneath it. So beautiful! -

The Canon 100mm f/2. 8L IS lens is my favourite camera lens. Though it wasn't designed for that, it does fantastic portraits too.

Idk about eco systems -living without greed- sounds cute but that-s not reality even for plants. They also compete for resources.

I see you credited my brother, Taylor Lockwood. His innovative bioluminescent mushroom photos have adorned US Postage Stamps.

Nature is capitalistic, organisms only share if it benefits them also. besides that is pure competition for resources
