That very first moment playing astro's playroom, the haptics blew me away-!
but my most favourite sensation with the triggers is playing fifa, as the players becomes fatigue, the sprint button becomes heavier.
Displays ( tvs and monitors ) that brings put the power of next gen console is not getting any cheaper anytime soon because 120hz / HDR / hdmi 2. 1 is not really needed in the common household,
hope to see official support for 1440p, whereby games can runs at 60fpz with full ray tracing.
I hope sony would focus on bringing out more slimmer and cheaper ps5 console iteration. So that this would bring down the prices of ps5 games.
And as ive mentioned before, prices of displays are not getting any cheaper (yet, theres no need to bring out a ps5 pro model to the market.
Its better to bring out a cheaper ps5 slim model with smaller socs ( 4nm or even 3nm.
With current performance offering, ps5 could easily lasts for 10 years.
( i got mine at retail november 2020, its been great, more than enough cpu and gpu power.
PS6 can wait

Short but important curiosity (please do not ignore me): PS5 is now a (special) x86_64 machine. Therefore the main sw (I am sure, deeply customized by SONY) must be related to the Microsoft+DirectX family, or to the GNU/Linux+Vulkan galaxy?

I cannot stand the sticks position on the Playstation controller. Why not make a controller like the Xbox one? A design that is preferred by many. This way we can have both types of controllers. The analog sticks need to be offset. Anyone else agrees?

0: 03 Mark, what you made was a non-existent product with a paper launch. I'm sure it exists in magical La-La-Land or Narnia, but here in the real world, it's nowhere to be found over a year after its supposed launch at its suggested retail price.

2 things. 1: I think Cerny is not only a genius but also an Android. Not a human. 2: I've been trying to figure out for years if that's actually his hair or is that a wig that Androids wear to -blend in-.

8: 44 I don't know I don't think they're doing full GI, or their materials remain unrealistic. No game footage I saw came close to the quality of real-time GI tech demos.

Now if they can get the supply chain situation resolved not only for Sony but any electronics companies would be great. lot's of consumers dying to get a PS5, GPU etc.

Almost as powerful as a gaming PC but still not quite there yet. In about 5 years time I hope to see a console that is more powerful than a current mid range gaming PC.
