Did you play with fingerboards when you were younger? Welcome to the next-level of fingerboarding. Mike Schneider is a professional fingerboarder, the owner of FlatFace Fingerboards, and is really, really good at fingerboarding. Mike has been manufacturing his own fingerboards and scaled-down skateparks since he was 9 years-old. In Dracut, Massachusetts, you can find the FlatFace Fingerboards building. Here, Mike spends 40+ hours a week practicing, building, and socializing with other fingerboarders in what can only be described as Fingerboard Heaven. The real secret to his success is not just fingerboarding.
It's how customized his own boards, crafted fingerboard parks, and made a brand out of it. His market is exactly him. 12 to 16 yr olds, or those who started at that age still do it as a hobby.
THAT is the true genius of his success. Not the hobby of fingerboarding.

that's a Huge Trend for the last 25 years especially in USA Kids Never grow up they get older but they never grow up you just have to look at their TV, News, Social Media and even Schools wonder how much can this social experiment will last since modern society is kept running by the working man not by KIDS playing with their fingers

This is so much of what life's about: true passion. And I can totally relate to what he's saying in the end: I'm a climber myself and I see surfaces you could climb everywhere and it makes the world way more interesting.
Okay, it's mainly walls. :) But sometimes there's a bridge or even a beautiful tree.

I've been finger boarding for 27 years lol, Remember when Tech decks first came out, I still have some of the originals. it's still fun to see people's amazement when you do an Ollie or kickflip, -how does it stay in your fingers- lol

Hats tipped to the guy who kept boarding with his fingers. I too was a major tech deck enthusiast in middle school, but stopped around high school. But this guy broke the bell curve and kept going and became a success.

We're all just going to just ignore his company is called 'flatface'.
Such a racist term for east/South East Asians.
If it was a slur against black people would that be ignored?
For shame

Dude I used to be a natural but I just haven't done it in so long kind of feel bad I kind of stopped doing something I really love doing so good for you but continuing to do what you love doing

I-ve finally found someone who could compete against me. Unfortunately it-s been 20 years at least since last time I fingerboarded. Only realistic tricks as it should be.

I haven't learned a bunch of trick because my doctor said I developed carpal tunnel; but I've got a pretty gnarly longboard that gets me back and forth, on the table.

The last part made the most sense by far. looking for cool spots while you're walking around town or stuck in an office would be really awesome lol
