Former CIA Chief of Disguise Answers Spy Questions From Twitter Tech Support

Rating: 4.5; Vote: 2
Jonna Mendez, former CIA Chief of Disguise, answers the internet's burning questions about spying. How many CIA assets are in Ukraine right now? Do spies get acting lessons? How do spies get recruited? Do spies get to choose their own code names? Jonna answers all these questions and much more! Xcoder112: The rule of aborting a mission if it doesn't feel right makes perfect sense because even if everything is fine, you may make a mistake if you don't feel comfortable and thus mess up the mission just because of your feelings. Success also has a lot to do with believing in success and convincing yourself that you can do it.

I'm really annoyed that this woman completely failed to mention the HUGE part that Canada played in rescuing these diplomats, as well as in hiding them in the Canadian embassy for all that time. I'm annoyed, but I'm not in the least bit surprised, the movie Argo also portrays the Americans as being in charge of everything, and as being the rescuing force. I wonder why the major US news programs of the day all announced that the country owed the return of these 6 diplomats to Canada then? It's public knowledge, why are you still lying about it? Canada, The True North, Strong And Free.

this is not the way to go if you're traveling through US air space => hahaha it floated for DAYS into US air space before it was shot down, it had the time to take all the pictures it wanted and send them across the ocean. :D it TOTALLY is the way to invade US air space. If they proved anything, it's that it worked!

The Spies cant be Attractive thing doesnt really make sense. You want to stand out in someway right? Those who are so nondescript they look fake. Everytime you see a tail get blown in fiction its cause some guys in boring suits in boring cars are so obvious.

China probably tuning into this video and taking notes. It drives me crazy how she has so much charisma in her own personality. It would be very cool to do this as a profession. Sadly, I will have to stick with trolling scammers in my spare time.

I've seen her once before on here and was impressed. I still can't register in my brain the level of her position and how she looks like someone who could be a cashier at Save-A-Lot. She's so average she completely fits in.

Wow, it makes sense but I would never have imagined a government position that strictly encourages you to follow your gut and even honors that. That's kinda beautiful in a way. Of course, the stakes can be so high.

Yeah just think. Those masks were passable in the 80s. Imagine the tech now. They could easily take out government officials and replace them with a mask that would be hard to tell the difference.

This woman could literally looks like any ordinary grandma I walk by in my day to day life. But she s probably witnessed murders, gone undercover in major missions, it s honestly astonishing.

The CIA codenames have to be better than Navy Call signs, where they take the most embaressing moment of your life and label it for everyone to call you for the rest of your career LOL

The Argo story is less cool when you learn they could have gotten them out earlier if it weren t for political reasons within the US by the Regan campaign to ensure their victory.

Three people guarantee that I click on the video the moment I see it; one I Jonna Mendez, and the other two are Erik Singer and Joe Navarro. We definitely need more of all three.

LOOOOOOOOOOVE the nonchalant comment about knowing that cyanide is effective. HAHAHAH! I would be friends with her. Finally. and American that can keep an effing secret.

10: 11 Those Microdots sounds amazing. How is that achieved? Also scary, sounds like it may be easily lost.
Also, I wonder what does she think about Tom Clancy books?

If a spy with a family has to live overseas will he take his real family or have a fake one or live alone?
If he is without family is he allowed to contact them?
