Jackie is SO right about the flow of a name being similar to the flow of martial arts, dancing, or anything else. How brilliant to pick up on that without even totally knowing the language at that point! I remember what a huge deal Rumble in the Bronx was when it launched in the U. S. Jackie Chan may be the #1 biggest action movie star of all time!

He was my favorite actor when I was a child. But later I learned that he is all about earning a quick buck sponsoring any and all products without checking them. And he is really strict on his family and abandoned some of them. Now he is kind of still under the CCP'S control. I have mixed feelings about him now.

I just love the fact that his level of English has remained exactly the same as when he first appeared in Hollywood movies he could become proficient in it by now but seems like he never really bothered. It's like his calling card now and he will never be the same Jackie Chan without it

This is my favorite interview! I'm so glad to have grown up watching Jackie Chan/Jet Li/Donnie Yen/ etc etc movies. These guys are my heroes growing up. It's great that they are still so healthy and all of their movies are timeless.

Give Jackie more boards to throw!
Hope he has another usa film career, renaissance cause he's talented regardless of language.
Grew up on a lot of his films in the 90s still love Jackie Chan in any media. Legend

Love that he uses his students for stunt doubling. He’s so genuine & an icon, legend if you will. My younger sister & brother grew up with Jackie. He was their idol. He’s so deserving & a wonderful, kind human.

The story behind his name was really interesting to listen to! Also, I'm surprised so many people in the west are still surprised to learn that he can sing. He has been singing a lot since like, the 80's.

love he doesn't know much english off the top of his head but knows lowkey. Dude is the goat. Drunken Master is one of my favorite movies of all time, and the theme he sung for Police Story is amazing.

I’ve seen Jackie Chan for almost 30 years and this is the first time I see him struggling to read English and requiring an interpreter for that yet still can express himself well in the language.

Teacher: What's your name
Jackie: My name is Chan Kong-sang.
Teacher: No, your name is Stephen.
Jackie: Okay.
Jackie is always unintentionally funny.

Asking a 71 year old if he does his own stunts is absolutely crazy. Having the 71 year old confirming it and you find yourself believing it is unheard of.

WIRED was there a moment where you considered editing out the question being said twice entirely inaudibly or did you just launch into this awful format

Tom Cruise was the last here, who was so incredible talent like him. They should make a move together, just because they are The last real moviestars!

In Asia and for most Asians, Jackie Chan is deeply imbeded into our psyche as a cultural icon. You have got to watch his pre Hollywood films.

So these aren't actually the most searched questions, these are the most searched questions that the guests are willing to answer. Got it
