It's a matter of diplomatic necessity of course. It is likely that under the veneer of politeness and formality, both leaders are aware that if they DON'T choose a side they are going to get devoured by the war the way Pandaria was. The Highmountain chose the Horde because of their shared ancestry with the Mulgore tauren, though they're probably grimly aware they're going to be inevitably fighting former brothers and sisters in arms from the war against the Legion. As for Thalyssra, well, the decision was a lot simpler. The shared culture with the blood elves and the disdain with which the night elves treat them helped close the gap between them and the Horde. They were the obvious choice from the beginning. Just as well, because if it weren't for Suramar supplementing the Horde's arcane troops, the blood elves that join Valleera would no doubt leave them with a very big gap in their war machine.

I thought she was putting least some care into the horde, but now it seems like they are a tool to her. As for the Ally factions. Nice to see how the Nightborn and Highmoutain forgot about the alliance though to be fair Nightelfs were not so kind to the Nightborn. Nice one Tyranda or what ever her name is.

Also, if it was somehow understadable with other warchief, I can't really see how the damn any faction allies themselves with undeads. honorable highmountain taurens allying with a murderer that forcefully filles undead ranks. I mean you reject demons cause they are demons but you embrace undead. Come on.

if Sylvanas wasnt Warchief and Baine was then PERHAPS there could b peace between Horde and Alliance for once. First it was the hotheaded Varian keeping peace between the Alliance and Horde a no-go, then it was Garrosh and now its the hotheaded Sylvanas doing the same.

Although as an Alliance player, I was always fascinated by the foundation of a Horde. However when some useless banshee who does nothing for the horde but for her own gains controls the most fearsome beasts you know something is wrong. Garrosh would've turned in his grave.
