I wish they hadn't killed so many great characters over the years. Every time it happened a little bit of wow lore died. as did my enjoyment of the game. If I were to go back now it would be for nostalgia reasons to play through some of the older content when the game was amazing. But I guess like so many things in REAL life you can't go back again, not really and life moves on. I must say that no other MMO lasted me so long and had such a profound effect on my video gaming life. I lived and breathed wow for 12 years from launch, lived in the lore of the books and the game and made some fine friends in game plus I remember who was in my real life during those years and how good life can be, then life happens and you move on. Now Blizzards latest game, D4 has managed to just be a disappointment and nowhere near as much fun as D3. On the plus side there are lots of other games that are still great and to fill your gaming time with. So take a bit of advice, its ok to look back in life every now and then, but never for too long. Don't dwell on the past. Move on and enjoy the now. oh. and always smile lots: )

What a horrible fate for him. Arthas. He went through all that in life, and in death, and then after death his soul was tormented, and slowly devoured until he was a single candle flicker. Then after facing those that he wronged, that sliver of his soul doesn't get a afterlife. nor even the comfort of oblivion. His sliver of his soul just ceases to exist entirely. and history won't even record his name. Damn. that's brutal.

I dont like characters retconing or revivals.
But with Metzen back. I wouldn't regret or get mad if somehow he brings Arthas back and finish him for good but with a good narrative or honorable ending. Everytime I see this Arthas -closing- scene just makes me more furious. FFS. so many years of events and rich lore only to be ended like this. The writing team after Metzen was awful.

I don't get how Varian came here. He was corrupted by fell magic before Argus break the Orbiter so all his souls and incarnation now belong to demonworld and they can feast on him. Atleast that's how they explain it in the start of SL.
So what's a hell is going on on this cinematic? Anduin now have shisophrenia and this helps somehow to break control-magic?

Undermined everything she said before and the entire scene. Such tragically inconsistent, terrible writing - feels like an actual writer wrote the good parts, but way too many people got involved adding the rest.

They keep bringing arthas back. Its like disney bringing back Palpatine or Vader or whatever memberberries. They have no more good story lines so they just keep resurrecting anything that has to do with the original arc. There's so many mid characters now it's just convoluted in mediocrity. Let it die already. Start WoW2 already for F sakes

What a circus. Whoever wrote the scenarios in all the recent expansions are really dumb. Whatever became of Sylvanas is pathetic.

It is makes me so angry how they ended up with Arthas. If anyone played warcraft 3 Arthas care about his people to protect them, because he was not strong enough to defeat the scourge he used frostmourne which corrupted his soul and became one. So sad how blizzard treat Arthas like this. very sad.

Arthas was a King that this world dont deserved. He destroy plague of Lorderon and kill Nerzul soul knows as Lich King after his transformation and outnumber legions of dead march. Rest of -hero's he choose- was the key to pouch him to fight against Lich King and Archimond. Another puzzle.

Came here after the The War Within trailer. This is sooooo bad at soooo many levels it's not even worth mentioning it. Blizzard must get rid of all its writers and send them back to school, they should graduate the primary school first before writing stories.

I will never understand Arthas simping. He was a spoiled -sshole way before getting Frostmourne and his -tragic villain- storyline was predictable; only edgy kids with daddy issues can identify with him. Also Blizzard bad; give me likes.

No one cares about Zoval but we all cry when Arthas soul fade into nothingness. Even after what he did, he was the best hero with the best story in Warcraft universe. No mater what Blizz came with, Warcraft story died long ago.

What they did to Arthas and the Litch King Crown was horrible. Arthas should have been redeemed in this expansion. The crown should have stayed the way it was. Sylvanas should have been a raid boss, in which we ended her.
