There was and will never be anything beyond sargeras in my mind. He was the origin of vanilla and Warcraft itself and he was its close.
Every expansion after that is just trying to keep a storyline going that was beautifully closed enough as is

I think Legion actually won when he stabbed Azeroth with the sword. I do believe that Sargeras really wanted to awake Azeroth in order to fight the Void and the Light. His intentions were not bad but his actions were. I think we will see Ilidan and Sargeras in the future. Don't forget what the devs told us about to look at the red star in the sky, once we will not see it again it is bad. Let's not forget this!

Strangely enough given the title, I was expecting a little more Illidan vs Sargeras, and not all the other random sh. stuff. I realise these cinematics might have been in order, but they showed two things about the I v S fight, and the second one was 'all'. Disappointed.

What really made me ENJOY Legion was how OBVIOUS it became that Illidan had been right from the very beginning. It has truly demonstrated how HEAVY his burden was.
And people keep calling him the Betrayer.

In Warcraft while you follow Gul'dans path in the Campaign. He is much more Epic, even Illidan is more epic. It seems WoW really did mess up the story and the feeling.
