These are so awesome and so well performed.
Spoilers for anyone who hasn't listened to all of them.
I have a question about the 2nd story, if the doors of the train were locked, how did the thieves get inside to move the guard from coach 14 to coach 13 Unless they gave Mr. Masterson a key to the train but I feel like that would be weird for the railroad company to just hand out a key to the train.
And also a question about the last story. How did Mr. Weeks get Jack's gun I guess it doesn't really matter but it just seems weird to me to bring up as a detail, unless Beth was mistaken as to it being Jack's gun.
Regardless the stories are superb!

At the risk of sounding unpopular I do not believe this is Benedict's voice. Sounds nothing like him, even when afflicting an accent or tone you can still hear parts of a person's true voice within. He's either putting on a very convincing voice or it isn't him. It doest even sound like how it does in the show, to me.

Love Benedict's voice, but unfortunately, the stories are not as good at the ones written by Sr. Arthur Conan Doyle. I don't like the changes on Dr. Watson's personality. He would never question Holmes instructions. He trusted him completely.

Cumberbatch's rendition of these classic Holmes tales is a perfect blend of his iconic voice and the intriguing mysteries of Conan Doyle. It's a real treat to hear such a talented actor bring these stories to life. Thank you!

Oh my! I so wish people would pronounce Nevada correctly! His American accent is quite good, however, it is reminiscent of a Texan/Maine combination. Nothing like someone from Nevada. But very good nonetheless.

Very enjoyable stories. I went to sleep to it last night and had to come back the next day and listen to it while I was wide awake, because I needed to hear what happened. That last one was a particularly wild ride!

Thank you so much for posting these stories. One slight thing, could you list the names of them Kind of frustrating if you’ve heard them before, and want to get the ones you haven’t heard before quickly.

Cumberbatch is terrific but the writing leaves a lot to be desired. It sounds nothing like Doyle’s Holmes in diction nor structure. It’s grey and too modern. Doyle’s prose has more tension in it.

The uppity snide, bordering on cold, arrogance of the Old Holmses (Cecil Rathbone for one) shines through in his diction. Quite the accomplishment. (greater men went 'round the bend for less.

I've listened to this for the third time and I just love it! Benedict is very good reader and does marvelous voices. I rank him 3rd, after Simon Stanhope and Greg Wagland.

Benedict Cumberbatch is a modern day Adonis with astonishing talent!
Oh, how I wish he were in many, many movies and TV series while he is yet in his prime.

Benedict Cumberbatch, one of the most over rated mediocre actors for a time, not a bad audio voice, i wish he did this instead of that awful Sherlock series

Cumberbatch's American accent is so grossly overdone it's just hilariously bad. And besides, Nevadans don't speak anything like that. Ugh. Needs work.

I enjoy Sherlock Holmes stories especially when voiced by B. Cumberpatch. He immerses himself in to his rolls in whatever it is.
