24: 10. Hmmm. Toner is a dry powder that has a negative charge that adheres to paper which has a positive charge, then is sort of melted to paper via the fuser (heat. Ink is a totally different product that is an actual liquid. You generally don't find large ink reservoirs outside of commercial applications. It's thin and viscous and relatively easy to clean.
Putting a blasting cap into an unused toner cartridge full of toner and, assuming it actually exploded that surprisingly thick plastic, it MIGHT create a cloud of toner that would stick to anything with a positive charge. However, it would only lightly coat anything. Momentarily distracting at best. The casing is a plastic clam shell, the seam is a weak point that i imagine would tend to pop open as opposed to creating shrapnel.
I used to sell toner and repair printers.
A better use case might be actual paint in quart sized cans. Easier to throw than a gallon can and thicker, slicker, and difficult to get off most materials without significant amounts of water.

Love this series. Not through the book yet but my only problem is that this doesnt seem to take interracial genetics into consideration. How far back does a bloodline go before the gene/antibody that protects againist the flu isn't present There would be a whole lot more adults due to the US not being as homogenous as China is. Maybe there would be more people like Sunny.
I also feel that given the way the US military works after the CDC official said that China was responsible government officials would have given the ok for submarines and carriars to launch an attack on mainland China. Plus our nukes are in middle America so there is a chance that they may have launched before the flu got to them since it started on the east coast. The only questionable part is what would the overseas US bases do

Have you ever been in a life threatening situation where a bunch of people on motorcycles hell bent to kill you are chasing you in a truck Obviously not. Conversations are not drawn out and casual, but rather quick and to the point. Its a fight or flight adrenaline rush, not oh I never thought shooting a crossbow looking backwards out of a truck is so difficult. Hey do you think I should use a bomb Ya good idea. Let's try it. Ok how long should I let the fuse burn'
Reality is more like f$#k the crossbow. Gimme a f#$king bomb! BOOM GIMME another!

I’m glad this author knows how guns and bullets work, too often we see in books and movies people do dramatic spins and have dramatic fits of death from being shot, it’s not like that at all, you just drop, and sometimes your body doesn’t realize you’ve been shot until a couple seconds after. Like the guy with the knife. Atleast the author didn’t make every one of them have a dramatic death speech, dropping to their knees lmao. The scary reality’s that it’s very quick

I'm really enjoying this series so far. The story itself is written well and not to far fetched, it absolutely feels to me like this could actually happen. The narrator does a brilliant job, making the characters all sound different and giving them personalitys that leave me wanting to no what happens next. The only thing is the English accents! I personally really don't like them lol sounds far to posh we don't talk like that.

The story is decent. like 6. 8 out of 10. Thanks for it being free also. I am grateful for that. If you care about feedback whatsoever I would just point out that the way you write the relationship situations between boys and girls makes the guys seem so weak. Why do you make the girls so strong and stubborn and the guys so weak and give in to them It's just not like real life. Anyway besides that. Thanks.

unbelievable story, teenagers are all groomed to be left wing and will be the first to die of starvation, they can't cope with reality now and their IQ is falling at an alarming rate, these kids can't even tell the time and think Africa is a country in Europe. They even refuse to drink cow's milk because they leave university believing that you have to kill a cow to get the milk out of it. SMH

I love this series so much. I started on book seven first accidentally, but that made me want to listen to it even more. Now I’m finished with book 1 and seven and I want to listen to more. I’m buying the books and advertising to my friends as soon as I can afford to buy the whole series. I listen to these books while working on stuff and it’s very entertaining.

You hoth know USA 100% deserves something like this and if it did haopen then its their own fault.
They have 0 honour in USA especially today when they aren't British types.
Even all GBs years taking over half the planet and doesnt deserve this. GB did it with honoir went in kicked azz and everyone made money.
But sneaky savage USA oh no.

Honestly the author and narrator are both really great. This new book and series are so much better than tv imo. Im 39 and feel that this series lets me take my imagination so close to nowaday events. What a great listen thanks scott for writing and allowing us to listen with out a paywall. I will be letting my friends and family know about the series

This is a GREAT NARRATORI listen to several books a week and sometimes free listens aren’t as well done but this is AMAZING -very well done. This is the 2 one I’m listening to and have now subbed
reply

I’ve tried listening to several apocalypse stories, but they either have poor construction, or the narrator is annoying. How fortunate we are to have Scott and Adam for a perfect series.
reply

THIS HAS BEEN AMAZING. I finished hell week and 3/4 way into this. oh my. its hard to pause it to sleep! This has me on the edge of the seat every turn
Thank you!

Books one and two are intense, moving on to book three. I'm excited to get to the America Falls and Texas Fight part of this series. Very well written and narrated.
reply

Why didn't they take a couple of Hummers that had HEATERS in them, and why didn't Luke just fire a grenade into that Hummer the China guy got into
reply

I am completely at a loss to understand why the street gang didn’t break the truck as soon as they saw it! Instead of banging on the door ffs!
reply

I'm still on the fence with this series. I always find it hard to follow a kid as the hero. Or really any story that only follows them.
reply

So if I'm counting right only ally is left from Sonny's group That's kinda fked he lost all his students one way or another at 4: 40: 39
reply

Cool story so far. A bit of constructive criticism. How are they being chased by guys on motorcycles in icy/snowy weather
reply

Isaac saying the virus doesn’t discriminate is hard to let go. The virus discriminating is the point of the whole story.
reply

Isaac: hating that he'll get a scar
His crush liking it
Isaac: maybe having a scar isn't that bad after all

reply

Dude, wth happened to sunny. And what's going on in the safe haven. I m so excited for the next for the next book.
reply

When I envision sonny I think of the Asian guy on cobra Kai. Please get him to play the character if there’s a show.
reply

Also, the black bear scene was dumb. It's a bear, and it's squaring up against a teenage girl. Just shoot the bear lol
reply

The fight between the teenager vs the battle harderned grown mam was a tad bit of a reach lol great book though
reply

I'm enjoying this, but John Marsden did it 25 years earlier with Tomorrow When the War Began
reply

A 15 year old leading a revolution. More believable than our alies stepping in for us.
