WAR AND PEACE by Leo Tolstoy - FULL AudioBook (Book 1) war and peace go hand and hand. one is not, and the other be not. the two intertwined are a delicate balance to the mind and heart, so likewise to the Universes of the Multiverse, which hearts and minds thereof are fluent in both war become peace. and peace become yet war. without a doubt, there could not be one without the opposite, and ive seen much of both myself. you find it all too easily in nature, as well in even one man. the product there being that the two are enamored as apart to those not understanding their existence in everyday life as we know not that well. yet.
the more you beat on metal, the more unified it becomes if heated properly. the samurais weapon is a blade of peace in a time of war, and should not be taken as mere metal. but when ordered chaos of the chemical weapon comes upon the world, the war breaks out into a peaceful mellow sleep induced coffin. as a blade would bring lasurations on the mind and body, the chemicals would lull you to sleep, all the while creeping inside to destroy. when rats aid themselves with eating harmful consumption, they still can eaten by cats with ease. the ant can engross themselves on the dead flesh of a wild beast or plantlife for long periods of time, savoring the nutrients in their bellies and mouths, yet are easily angered or devoured. while there is peace yet war, and when theres war peace can be in the heart of the bearer of arms.
my findings about everyday life have concluded that to have peace. war must exist somewhere. this is the answer to end all war; place war at one end of life, and peace at the other, and follow the hearts victory over war. a double life is necessary for peace to truly exist. one that has war in one arena, and peace in another. thus ending the cycle of peace then war repeated throughout the ages. create an arena for one, or the other, but not both at the same time.

If I understand it correctly. these Librivox records are read by amateurs. I listened to MANY of them off their website as they have a GREAT selection. The trouble is. the chapters change voices (which doesnt bother me, but some have NO business reading. their voices are HORRIBLE! I think some of them that I have listened to, think they are the GREATEST reader ever. someone needs to tell them to get REAL!

I was listening when going to bed which was calming then all a sudden around 2: 44: 05 that other voice happens. Like how am I meant to sleep if anna mikhaylovna had xhhdhsvdjlsjsueopwwhd spehshbdkdkdg wishhdgjdnxvsjq her son cause that is what it sounds like to me. How did she become a narrator for a book using that level of laungage

I love history and never read this book I am 31. I tried to read it but could not really understand it. when I was listening to this I understood it very well. I love the accent with it. it brings out the originality in it. but some words I could not understand due to the accent other then that very pleased with it.

I do my fair share of constructive criticism from time to time, but I can't help thinking there is something obscene in being so harsh considering you get access to 5 hours of someone reading to you for free!
reply

I get it! War breaks out over a misunderstanding due to the narrator's poor pronunciation and Peace is finally restored when someone takes him out. Someone beat me over the head with babel stick, quick!

I've read this magnificent story a number of times, and each time, I notice something I hadn't before. Thank you very much for posting this masterpiece; this classic, timeless tale.

You do. You can't help it. The book is the same, but you are different. Something has happened in your life, so you see something you did not see before.

Parts of this are so faint that you can hardly hear what the readers are saying. Listening to this is an exercise in frustration - don't even try it.

Why Prince Andrew and not Prince Andrei I don't get it but still nice to hear this read while I am working. I've read it once myself. Spasiba!

Absolutely awful - Prince Andrew. why must literature's greatest novel be so mutilated - I will listen to Wodehouse instead - or Hornblower
