Do you also get mad at every word that is pronounced differently due to different accents And I’m not just talking about something like chassis being pronounced with a sh sound by people who live in the UK or Australia. I’m speaking of the dozens of accents in the USA and Canada as well. For instance Charlotte if pronounced by someone from New England often is pronounced Charlowe. Do you get angry that the Boston Celtics are pronounced with an S instead of a K sound I could go on and on but my point is that while cacophony is pronounced with a short a sound by this narrator, that doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Especially if spoke. By a New Yorker or someone from Boston. It’s just an accent difference. It would only be wrong if extra letters were added.
