So dated, so tedious. They seem to think that the pinnacle of computer technology was reached in 1992, and that 200 pages of no action dialog makes a page-turner.

I loved the first book but it is obvious the right decision at the end of the first book would have been to purge the system

Nowhere near as good as the mote in gods eye. Well, part 1 anyway.

I love this book! This narrator. I guess Niven doesn't translate well into British.
