We have banned menthol cigarettes in DC, and slap a 40 percent tax. We have banned flavored nicotine oil. Please tell me we have completely banned tobacco, tobacco oil and all tobacco products from Big Tobacco in the future. I do not want a future that looks like the 1950s where everybody is smoking a cigarette and drinking booze. Sorry Frederik you messed up there. But the story is still good, I just wish you would take the cigarettes and booze out. I'd rather have space weed myself. Finally at the 7-hour mark we get weed, Wooo!

HELLBLAZER, or anyone who sees this: I am in search of a sci-fi book to which I have forgotten the title and author - it is a series. In the story, Adie and Marcus are drafted into the military to combat alien Scum (giant centepedes, and then combat Merauders flying inside of living space ship Ravagers (giant beetle-like bugs. If ANYONE can tell me what this book is, I will be eternally grateful!

WOW! What a novel! As much as I felt indifference and actual dislike at times for the protagonist, I came around in the end knowing his tragedy and loss and how painful it was for him to acknowledge his survival. Like me, he was just a human being with all of the foibles we share.
This story has hit me far more than many I have read in a long time.

I was worried early on when the narrator read delta V as delta five when the V is read as the letter (it's v for velocity, but other than that it was a great read.
