I have to nominate an odd one, Fright Night 2, the sequel to the 2000s remake. I don't hear a lot about it, but it honestly surprised me. Out of the 4, it might be my second favorite. Trapped in an underground European catacomb, that was the first time I saw a vampire use their own sonar to track their prey. Gerri Dandridge was a delightful spin on Jerry Dandridge.

This list should have been called Top 5 Female Vampire Movies From the Past 20 Years (which would have been a fine list to make. It appears to have been created by a staff of young people who are unaware of some serious heavyweights: Daughters of Darkness, Twins of Evil, Vampire Lovers, and that just goes back to the 70s.

This should be called -5 female vampire movies on Amazon right now-, because any female vampire movie top 5 that doesn't have at least one of The Hunger, Innocent Blood or Lair of the White Worm is a total joke. I mean, come on! The Hunger isn't on the list?

No way is Underworld better than Byzantium. And technically Eli in Let the Right One In isn't female, if you have read the book. Only Lovers Left Alive is fantastic. I have yet to see A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night so I cannot comment.

Empire in let the right one in is not a girl. Is a castrated boy. They have a brief scene in the movie that shows it in the novel goes into it in greater detail
