I love that 3 and a half minutes in, the coach already knows she's the British one, not because of anything she says, but because she's so reluctant to tell him anything about herself.
Hobbies?
Editing.
Cool, so she's the Brit. Now I've got to find other things to look for to fill in the next 5 minutes, and pretend I don't already know who has the real accent.
As an American with British friends and exes, I can confirm that's accurate, relative to what you'd expect from many Brits.
And it made the first time meeting my first ex's parents so awkward, because I was nervous af and rambling, and they were just sitting there with that British smile, like What is _wrong_ with this woman? No, just smile and nod, and don't make any sudden movements.
And I could see that thought in their expressions, but it only made me more nervous and I couldn't stop myself from rambling even more. It was brutal.
Luckily they were very understanding and I became close with his mom, and we still chat occasionally on fb (my breakup with her son was mutual and amicable, and we're still friendly acquaintances.
But that was a perfect example of how weird that reluctance to share personal details might be to an American, and how weird Americans' eagerness to share personal details might be to a Brit.

I have a mixed accent having been raised and lived in the U. K, Canada and America. I bet I would have been accused of faking it cus my accent is not proper either. What gives it away for me when Americans do a British accent is that their intonation and rhythm patterns are off as Brits have a totally separate intonation and rhythm of speech. Thanks

As a dialect coach he hasn't got a clue that 'the British accent' as such does not exist?
It pretty much stops with 'the queens English', after that you've got 1000's of dialects and accents.

Chloe sounded quite American at the end, you can tell she's been in the States for a while. She even said she was bummed out which I've never heard a fellow Brit say. It sounds gay.

I thought only one of them was not British and I was very confused for most of the video because I couldn't decide whether Hailey or Brett was the fake one.
