So in regards to tamales I know it's a little bit extra but we would wet paper towels wrap them in the paper towels put them in a ziplock bag or some kind of like cling film in the microwave for like 1: 45 to 2: 30 depending and it came out better. The Masa wasn't as dry. It's not home cooking but it's not bad.
And let me tell you when you're in the office full of bunch of angry men and you need something to feed them this works

it irks me when people are supposed to be experts on a certain region or culture of food and they dont pronounce anything right or know the history. like just say all i know about this if from what ive ate not im mexican so i know what this food is supposed to be and im an expert.

In the northern part of the country burritos do exist but your burritos are north american if you add whole. beans and rice
Burritos in mexico are filled with refried beans and cheese or refried beans and chicharron things like that not lettuce and rice

Let's be real here most frozen foods are not good, authentic, or recognizable dupes of the real versions. (Exceptions exist for things like vegetables or fries, but anything else is a unicorn)

Burritos are actually mexican but they dont look like the big american burritos. They are skinny and usually there is some sort of sauce on it. Also the aslctual burritos are from zacatecas
