Ive had the flu several times in my lifetime and that is standard protocol to just let your body fight it.
Can you please confirm that they did not do anything? Maybe I missed something.
If you could do it all over again would you risk going into the hospital and be surrounded with all the other sick people or would you just take some bed rest And let your body temperature to rise so your body can just fight it off naturally?

I had the virus. What blew my mind was how quickly it spread. I live with six other people and one by one we were all infected within a week. My mother got so sick, I had to take her to the hospital and she was there for two weeks hooked to an oxygen machine. The whole experience was quite terrifying. I remember feeling pressure on my chest and a constricting feeling like a snake was wrapped around my chest. A lot of pain when I breathe and I got winded very very easily. The only symptom I never had was fever. The cough came later and was the last to go.

I had to prove to my clinician that I wasn't being paranoid or deluding myself that I was sick just to get my lungs/02 checked. They definitely seem more scared than us. I could have it but probably won't get tested because I don't have a fever or dry cough. That's probably the last time I will see a doctor.

You know what bothers me? They test the same people 6-7-8 different times, but wont re-test the ones that are recovering. I mean. what if its contagious for more than 14 days?

Im 17 no health conditions, very healthy I have run multiple half marathons and ended up spending a night in hospital and now 3 months later still arent fully recovered: (
