Why Do We Have Gay Pride Month In The United States?

How and why we celebrate Pride the way we do today in the U. S! Lord: The Stonewall riots were started and lead by a crowd of gay men, most of then white, and the story of trans women of color being at the foreftont of the riots is a later invention. Also, neither Rivera or Johnson identified as transgender the way modern activists are saying, and Johnson insisted until his death that he is a gay man and a drag queen. The idea of a gay rights movement was also not new and did not originate in the United States. The entire history of the movement has been revised by activists who needed a way to tie transgenderism, a concept not known at the time, to the gay and lesbian struggle.

This is really poorly made and leaves out, as one example, Frank Kameny. What about the gay publications that espoused gay rights way before Stonewall? Rivera was an important part of Pride, but was clearly not even at Stonewall. Marsha humbly clarified that she arrived late, but was at least there. DeLarverie seems to have had a bigger role, at least at Stonewall, than anyone else named. This feels like a slapdash effort.

The problem is not the LGBT. The problem is radical leftism/ Post Modernism. To hell with irrational, unjustified attempts at exercising political correctness. To hell with forced diversification of media. Why should live action adaptations (or other adaptations) portray previously white/non-minorities as people of color and minority groups? What the hell is happening to Hollywood, Netflix, etc.

Only hateful, heterophobic assholes celebrate this.
The Stonewall stuff was a series of riots, and riots are _violent_ acts. It's about as awful as the riots going on right now, kids. Or, do we embrace the idea of peace through violence once again? Just remember that's always a two-way street!

Idk this is just my opinion, I dont care if your gay be gay if you want, some people walk into the room and they announce it, I dont announce that Im straight when I go anywhere.

Buzzfeed promoting revisionist history Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera were drag queens, not trans, and Sylvia Rivera wasn't even at the Stonewall Riots.
