This sew shop in LA is making the fashion industry better by stitching new life into their clothes. To learn more check out and to learn more about Hyundai visit Trixonic: Id love to live on an island composed of all unused clothing at a minimum cost. Im sure its possible and would love to explore the possibilities. The environment will destroy and overcome any man made good in the long run so who cares. The earth will outlive the human race and bury our existence in a matter of years so who cares lol

I thought this would be a video showing us how to make my clothes last.
Here are my tips, since buzzfeed failed to provide any:
1. Wash clothes, especially jeans inside out
2. Hang dry clothes and then put them in the dryer to finish off
3. Don't use a cycle that is longer than necessary
4. Don't wash towels with your clothing
5. Separate whites, lights, and darks.

I've starting to sew my own clothes and use all natural fiber fabrics because I know most clothes these days are made with plastics and when you wash them it can get into the environment and smaller animals do end up eating it. I also find sewing my clothes gives me more of an appreciation for them because it took my time to make.

Im deff learnin to love my clothes. I have a lot and when I decided to go minimalist I didnt get rid of them. I just go shopping in my closet and always find somethin cute and new to wear. Sometimes I rotate my clothes every other yr so its like new clothes every season

How to shop clothing more eco friendly - look what material it is made of. 98% polyester and 2% elastane? You are basically wearing a woven plastic bag that will deteriorate into micro plastics going down the drain in the washing machine

The amount of clothes I had to throw out/send for recycling (which isn't what happens with a lot of the clothes) when I worked in a charity shop was really eye opening. Clothes should not be treated as disposable.

Here in Africa, or at least in my country, we either give our clothes to the less fortunate, our family members or use it to clean our cars or windows.
