Personal opinion: the film was not bad, but it felt pointless. It was surely better than Thor: L&T or Ant-Man 3. But it was not a good film. Aside for the fact that, as others pointed out, revealing so much of Rulk in the marketing campaign gave away most of the story, the problem to me is that the film added very little to the MCU and felt very inconsequential. This is the second (third) time we have seen Sam feeling like he needs to prove himself worthy of the shield. He keeps acting bravely, he keeps being a great human being, but at the end of the film he is basically in the same figurative place he was at the beginning of the movie. Rulk appears and gets disposed of over the course of the movie, locked in the Raft to (I am sure) pop up again in two to three years as a glorified comeback.
The thing that drove me crazy the most is that the film prominently introduced two new characters who felt completely purposeless, to me: Joaquin Torres is the stock sidekick comic relief and Ruth Bat-Seraph is there as an initial foil to Sam, only to turn into an ally later on - both tropes we have seen a hundred times already. Aside for providing dialogue to help the audience keep up with what is happening in the movie, you could probably remove both of them and still have a completely functional story. They are never the key character in a scene, they are never the element that propels the story forward. Joaquin is basically there to crack a joke and comment on what is happening, so that Sam can look more of a mentor figure to him, while Sabra just punches/kicks people.
Let's only focus on this aspect in Winter Soldier: Steve already had an established relationship with Natasha, so you could feel the complicity between the two of them. The always good Captain America was forced into covert operations and had to rely on Natasha's shady past and background. Sam (as Falcon) was introduced in the movie, while not being the most proactive character in the story, still had time to develop as a character in his relationship to Steve.
In Brave New World the story literally kicks off with oh, hey, look, Joaquin is Sam's new Buddy, just roll with it and Sabra is introduced as basically a new Black Widow, but not Florence Pugh. We as an audience need time to see relationships develop: you can's just throw in a new character, give them very little to do besides accompanying the hero around and expect us to care about their relationship.
In the words of Sam Wilson: you've got to do better, senator.

I don't have more respect for him as i had enough to start with.
For the movie and the trailer, the movie was heavily reshoot, ans with the latest critics and all the changes from marvel and after the succes of deadpool, they had to push on red hulk to bring people in.
People don't all know yet that Feige fired all woke and leftist activist from Marvel Studio summer 2023 ald that's why movies were pushed back and like this one rewrite heavily.
Marvel had a phase that was poisonned by wokeness and ideology. This phase is passed.
ne mostly never listen to critics!
I saw it 3 times and really enjoy it!
It firs well into the mcu, bring back old character, some fan service, and announce what's next, like middle phase movies use to do in phase 2, 3 and 4 without being the movie of the year, but still a solod marvel movie.
Sam Wilson was teased as a good man who could repoace Steve long before any woke bs, and it was done logically, and we can't critic how it was done as he had more doubts about himself as captain than any fan.
Most people who saw the movie liked it, the premiere was pack and people react like they use to for other marvel movies, and the ones who mock or heavilly critics points you only see in the trailer didn't actually see it and are just haters, or because they don't lile super heroes at all and never watched one, or because they are mad leftist because there is no gay shit or no characters with pronouns.
This movie should do 6-700 millions easy, it deserves it. No more has it's not a billion worth lile a deadpool or spidey or avenger, but it deserve to male a good amount of money, it's that good

I will disagree on one major argument. This movie did NOT prove Sam was worthy of being Captain America. In fact I would say all it did was give people more ammunition to believe whatever you already believed.
Like Sam as Cap This movie boosted his respect and leadership.
Dislike Sam as Cap This movie proves just how underequipped Sam is, especially without the Super Soldier Serum.
And how do I know Because this movie also proves my own argument right: that the mantle should have passed to BOTH Sam AND Bucky.
Sam explicitly confesses to Bucky that he shouldve taken the serum, while Bucky tells him he doesnt need it. The fact is, Bucky has it and with him by his side, Sam doesn't need it. It is only without his partner that he is really weak. And while Bucky has the power of Captain America, Sam has the compassion. To answer your question, I absolutely respect Sam more after this movie, because they leaned on his best character trait: that he is VA counselor. He is experienced with talking with people about incredibly difficult matters and helping them to heal and reintegrate into society inspite of all they have been through, all the pain they have suffered - and caused. This is exactly what Bucky needs and pairing the two of them together was perfect and an absolute shame that they are more or less permanently split up.
Focusing specifically on Sam as Captain America, this movie showcases how GOOD Sam is, but how GREAT Sam and Buck together would have been.

I love youre videos Man!
Your optimism resonates with mine when it comes to Marvel Movies!
My favorite statement you make is that today movie critics tax a new movie if it has marvel in the title.
And I feel like it is true, while this isn't the best marvel or Captain Amerika yet, the character was raised to the absoulte perfect place for it to be. a non super solider with a heart in the righ place but his biggest disadvantage is even said in the movie by Ross: You are not Steve Rogers. And after the end of the movie you as the audience should have felt like, you dont need to be.
This very message is very important for the world right now. I loved it. Sure the plots and the picked up unresolved story lines ( Stern, Tiamut Island and Adamantium) were sort of cheap versions to pick up these long forgotten threads, and the Leader had more potential, same with Red Hulk as a character, but overall this was a good movie.
And it is good to have reinforcement from your points of view, that it is still worth going to MCU movies with an optimistic mind set, as I will better enjoy the movie than someone with comic movie fatigue attitude. So I guess thanks for your always immaculate quality of videos, always a pleasure!

I honestly liked the movie and to those who criticize the Ross-Beatty stuff
The rights for Hulk are owned by Universal, Marvel was smart enough to negotiate the teamup movie clause which allowed the Hulk and his characters to be used
You are NOT going to use Beatty, Leader, Abomination in a teamup (Avengers) movie as the runtime will not support it. Thunderbolt Ross was the only one to appear in the teamups because it made sense
(i am sure Universal is getting some form of compensation for the use of THEIR charaters, same as Sony for Spider Man)
Nobody cares that most of the Tony-Pepper romance happened offscreen between Civil War and Spider man homecoming, where Civil War effectively WROTE HER OUT of the MCU because Paltrow wasn't interested, then she said yes to Infinity War and Endgame which is why Homecoming had Tony and Pepper suddenly get married to make the Tony Arc make sense
The same goees for the Thor-Jane romance (besides Thor 1)
Effectively the only relationship we see develop fully are Gamora and Starlord and Tony vs his dad and Cap and carter
And I enjoyed Harrison as Ross and while the Trailers promoted the SHIT out of Red Hulk

I watched the movie last night. It was good and very entertaining. Here is what I didn't like.
People seem to have forgotten all Ross did during the Avengers, like the Sokovia Accords. He was the mastermind behind the persecution of heroes. It happened before the snap that erased half of the population on Earth. But somehow, the people got stuck with the Hulk incident about 16 years ago.
Also, I sympathize with the idea of having Sam as the new Captain America. But how in the world can he fall at high speed and suddenly stop on the floor without an exoskeleton, like Ironman or a super soldier serum All his bones would have broken in pieces. Moreover, how did he stop and hold the flag pole with his bare hand when Hulk swung it That's just impossible.
Marvel wasted an excellent opportunity to bring back the Incredible Hulk at the last minute to help Cap stop the Red Hulk. It would have been an epic ending to the movie. After all, the movie is very close to the plot of The Incredible Hulk.

I think they cut out a lot of Stern's story. I don't think it was underdeveloped, I think it was underused.
When he knocks on the door of the house and sees the man there, then the camera zooms out and you hear a woman scream, I think that was meant to be Stern taking Betty and her husband captive to make Ross angry to trigger the transformation. And the scene where the solider finds out that the pills were filled with Gamma rays was clearly a reshoot, because Stern is wearing a hoodie to hide the fact that they didn't do all of the makeup and prosthetics on the top of his head.
Stern was meant to wait at Betty's house for Ross to transform and ruin his image. Then he'd get picked up by cops after that, turning himself in there, instead of in Washington when he did.
Otherwise, Stern broke into a random house, used his own mobile phone to call the president, and later turned himself in for no reason.

This is a true story: I used to work for McDonald’s and I remember putting together our new happy meal promotion and it was for Captain America Brave New World and I was shocked because before the internet and social media revealed I got my hand on a Red Hulk Plushie along with other toys even though the movie wasn’t gonna come out in 2025 and this was like around the beginning of 2024 doomblazer talk about the happy meal promotion in one of his videos. Marvel Studios definitely has a real problem whenever they have to do reshoots in the last minute or having to make delays either way it cost them money and McDonald’s has their own schedule which is why everyone knew about Red Hulk and nobody really was surprised once Marvel Studios announced it.
I believe that Marvel Studios shouldn’t reveal and major characters or plots because that’ll be the only way they can make profits

Bruce Banner is the only legitimate Hulk, this is a cheap knockoff which thanks to watching these videos I learned. I actually thought the Red Hulk was the actual Hulk, what we got was a DEI movie and marketing is not the reason it's failing. It's failing because it's a crappy movie with a poor storyline that makes no sense and they tried to inject a knockoff of arguably the most popular character in the Marvel universe besides Spiderman. If it had been Bruce Banner as the Red Hulk that might've made people go see it just for the Hulk effect. Thank God I learned the truth before I sent $20 on Disney's woke bs.

Hey I want you to watch the indian movie chhaava which is based on Chatrapatk Sambhaji maharaja the son of Chatrapati Shivaji maharaja. Chhaava means lions cub here in this movie Chatrapati Sambhaji is considered as lions cub and considers Chatrapati Shivaji as Lion.
The movie is a biopic movie and all scenes are real and how aurangzeb tortured him for several days was much more cruel than you see in the movie.
I would love it if you would make a review on it.
Chatrapati Shivaji and Chatrapati Sambhaji are considered as legends of the Indian history to faught for SWARAJ

Finished the movie just now, The thing that you argue about sam being cap is a good point. I agree with point but one thing that I cant understand why reveal red hulk early if it was kept as a surprise it would have been great people would have loved that. The first 1 hour felt like a non super hero movie just a spy movie though I wouldn't say it was that good it was average. But the last part was good if red hulk was kept as a surprise and the actual 2 villains got more character development. I think the movie deserves a rating of 6/7 out of 10 not as half bad as the reviews.

Answer to your question- I respect Sam, not because he's a Captain America, not because he is black, not because I love Marvel and not even because I love his character development, but because he proved, in his own way, that he's the rightful successor to Steve, and looking at this movie away from the fact that it was a MCU movie, it was a good movie, it only falls because of the fact that Marvel's quality has been mixed since Endgame. The hate this movie gets is fair, but its not getting the love or respect it deserves.

i keep wondering how they could have made trailers different like tease enough to pull the crowd but not like that.
can be like just the fist of him in promos or something
like with green goblin in no way home, they just showed the green bomb balls. how they did other peters
maybe one way could be just the punches and making a dent on the table or something
if you would have been the marketing head thecanadianlad what you would have done differently

This was not a great movie. Don't know why people liked it. It wasn't the car wreck I was expecting and saying it's better than Thor 4 is not a complement. Don't know why they didn't have Betty show up to calm down Rulk instead of putting her in a lame end credit scene. Lots of new forgettable characters too. Still can't tell you what Falcons name is. You could also play a crazy drinking game on how many times someone calls Sam 'Cap' or 'Captain America'.

Toughest thing is the action may have been good but the animation and CGI was terrible. Celestial island was an awesome scene but every shot looked terrible. Fair warning to everyone who hasn’t seen it. The photos used to show scenes from the movie are not low quality cause it’s from a cell phone, the scenes (especially the cherry blossom scene) are really they bad. It really takes you out of the film and reminds you how bad the story really is

You can't get everyone to love something it's impossible I think your right Sam Def is a better pick for cap on morals but cap without a super soldier serum is just not anything I really wanna watch and again I get new caps wings are vibranium as well but it doesn't make sense cap had such fast thinking, reflexes and enhanced strength it's what made him able to bounce the shield around off multiple things but a normal guy don't it makes zero sense

Also, MCU seems to only have a few tricks,
1. Namo tech is literally standard issue
2. Super soliders are running around EVERYWHERE. plus, just taking the serum makes you bad ass, no need for any training, etc. Just look at the Falcon and Winter solider, its become a joke, in fact, Steve Rogers must have rubbish as he need all the training to make him what he was, everyone else just take it and becomes a great fighter suddenly

Great vid! I feel the bad reaction this film is receiving is a combination of factors:
1. The expectation the trailers created multiple reshoots
2. Marvel formula fatigue
3. Recent marvel failures made the fan base much more critical and in need of a above average movie. Just take phase 1 for example, back then most movies where average (except Iron Man 1 and Avengers) but they felt new and we were not burnt yet

I just really appreciated seeing Sam be captain America as a human. Yeah some of the sequences were a little unbelievable but the whole time I was thinking Man Sam is kicking ass without any super soldier serum. It was the determination in his humanity to show up as a Cap people could still root for and believe in that I really enjoyed. Then the line I should’ve taken that serum. Bucky was full of shit. loved it

I personally believe, had they not revealed Red Hulk and the Leader (Dr Sterns) in the promotional material, this would have come out as a much better movie in theaters. Marvel have revealed more than half the movie in trailers and that comes with a price. The price is: you kill all suspense and twists from the film. What would have been such a good movie otherwise, sadly got ruined by bad marketing.
