Why Hawkeye is the MOST Important Avenger - Explained in 6 Minutes Ryry: I don't agree with majority. For me he is as powerful as any Avenger in MCU, I mean the guy never misses a shot and even calculates every shot. Tell me a human in MCU and even in real life who can do that? Who has superhuman eyesight? If you compare ONLY by power then you can argue that he is the weakest avenger BUT the guy has mad skills, which I believe is powerful also. Example of this is in Avengers 1 when he shot Loki in a VERY LONG distnace and Loki caught his arrow, now Loki thought Hawkeye missed but then Hawkeye knew that Loki might catch it so what did he do? He made sure that it was an arrow bomb so that even if Loki catch it Hawkeye still hits the target because Hawkeye knows that the enemy was other worldly and probably compared Loki to Thor who was mighty. He is also good at close combat and can easily keep up with Black Widow, which is already an establish close combat specialist in MCU. And I feel like he can also keep up with Captain America, Bucky, Falcon and Black Panther in a close combat. I think that majority is just thinking about POWER when in reality some Avengers don't have powers like Tony and Ant-man can't win without their suits, Dr. Banner can't win without Hulk, and Dr. Strange couldn't fight if he never discovered the mystic arts. Hawkeye in MCU didn't need to be injected by anything or bitten by a spider to get his superhuman eyesight. He also has fast reflexes and has great combat abilities.

i think hes a better avenger than black widow, while its nice of her to be given the second chance by him and become a good guy/avenger, hawkeye being shield from the start and giving her the chance makes him slightly better. i feel you are wrong about his decision to kill thor. he listens to coleson because phill is a genunly good guy who he and the other avengers respected, after colesons death and fall of shield, there was no one else for clint to look up to, everyone else was corrupt and not as good hearted as phil so he decided to follow his own morals from now on. the speech he gives wanda, loved it, really good message about being an avenger isnt about the powers but the actions you take.

Hawkeye is actually considerably stronger than other avengers. Based on age of ultron and the avengers, in order to make clean shots into metal robots and impenetrable chitauri skulls that thanos modified himself to be stronger, his bow must have a draw weight of at least 250-300 lbs. and he is able to pull the drawstring back and fire with ease all throughout each movie. And he is smarter than average considering the work he puts into making his own trick arrows that are feats of chemistry and engineering.

Avengers 1: Hawkeye is in the movie. The Avengers win.
Avengers age of ultron: Hawkeye is in the movie. The Avengers win.
Captain America civil war: Hawkeye is in the movie, cap's side. Technically cap activities his objective.
Avengers infinity war: Hawkeye isn't on the movie. Avengers lose
Avengers endgame: Hawkeye is in the movie. Avengers win.
Coincidence? I think not

SPOILERS FOR HAWKEYE: The thing I don-t like about Hawkeye is how they make him look amazing and have great skills, but he can still go and lose to a deaf girl with an amputated leg. She shouldn-t be anywhere near his skill level, even with the best training. She-s younger, and is missing a literal body part. He should whoop her easily in every bout. Make it make sense

People underestimate him. Honestly, he's pretty strong for a guy with no armor, no special powers and yet, at the end of the day, he lives unlike the rest. One of the only(original) Avenger, besides Hulk, who has lived past End Game. The fact that he survived ALL OF THAT, Speaks well for his expertise and abilities. You don't need superpowers, to be a superhero.

In the movies: pretty much sucks and is also a shield agent, assassin, and a killer.
In the OG continuity: was an ex circus performer, got inspired to be a hero by seeing iron man in action, did wrong because of the black widow, after that he became an avenger and inspires other heroes and teams.

Like they lost half of all life because Clint was not there with Tony in space. If Hawkeye was on Titan, there would be a 2 outta 14, 000, 605 chance at winning.
Hawkeye shots an arrow into the eye socket while everyone is trying to pull off the glove and Mantis has him nearly asleep.

His bow has some punch. 200 yard shots part of the time. Im inclined to believe its supposed to be the 150 pounder from the comics. And he can rapid fire it. So he is stronger and faster than 99% of humans. He can read the field better than most others. Want him on my team

He, Hawkeye, was the leader of the West Coast Avengers and for much the same reasons. I would love to see them brought to the screen. Wonderman, one of my favorites from that team, was hinted at in the Wanda Vision series so maybe it could happen.
