But it's saved by the amazing job Oscar is doing, ald some really cool scenes.
I'm not a fan of Leia character, she's annoying most of the time because they want to force too much the strong female character. I don't care she was suppose to be a man in the comics for the super hero she becomes, because i lever saw it, and it makes sense in the show, it's a logical replacement to me who never read the comics.
But i found a lot of filer scenes in this show, who were useless. Like the whole horse thing with Gaspar Ulliel (RIP.
After the switching from one personality to an other was great.
The final fight with Ethan Hawk was a little exagerated as he suddenly have super streingh out of nowhere, without having a suit or else, to a point where he becomes strong enough to fight the 2 heroes at once easily.
The hippo ruined a little the -real- of the show, by being too much. But Konshu and the Croco look good enought to be credible, to a point where seeing them was ok, but seeing the hippo shocked me like -what the hell is that? -
An other thing that bothered me with Leila, is that once she has the suit, she knows immediatly how to use it full power, when we see mark struggling with his for quiete some time.

(btw all the marvel shows are bad, even moon knight. it has no resemblance other than name and characters to the comic book. it's just a buddy cop with the same character. Layla was a forced character, the show would have been better with about her and she is another reason the show differs to much from the source material. isaac dosent feel like mark or Steven. on the topic of steven he is horrible, he should have been the rich guy he is from the comics and not a bumbling idiot. lastly the costumes sucked and the big cg monster battle at the end is one of the worst marvel tv moments right up with falcon telling senators to do better, and generic strong female character saying Wanda did nothing wrong in Wandavision

I agree with all of this! Moon Knight is so far my favourite Marvel Disney+ show. it really was so beautiful how reverent they were in weaving together a balanced story with POC representation, a strong female character arc, portrayals of DID and mental health, and Egyptian culture where every single line, detail and visual is there for a reason! MK really took Marvel's whole thing of having hidden meanings and easter eggs to the next level, and don't even get me started on the acting performances. the cast really was amazing. Will be loving this show for a while.

Also, you have a point on Layla she already knew how to fight and it not be forced. That was missing from a lot of marvel movies and movies in general. This is honestly better than Loki. If they kept Moon knight going it would still get a lot of attention. But the ending was so Beautiful. They don't need to bring it back.

I love this show ep 5 made me cry the creator did a great job and the rest of the team, both his costumes where cheesy at first but i got use to it and he doesnt wear it constantly he can fight without it also when mark and steven except eachother steven becomes even better in combat so he evolves so this shows that every moment in the show matters and and is not just filler.

I basically made this video to show just how beautiful a show can be while at the same time being -woke- as some people term it, if the story is written properly with a lot of aforethought and research. Comic-book stories shouldn't only be for left wing people or ring wing people. It should reach both end of the spectrum is what I feel. Let me know your thoughts lads! ;)

Just like Iron man, moon knight too was a mid famous superhero in comics ( during earlier history spiderman and x men were the most famous in comics)
But the series did such a great task it undeniably made itself best marvel series right now

I actually prefer MOON KNIGHT more than LOKI if I was given a choice to watch only 1 marvel series on Disney+.
Loki was good, the storyline was dynamic but it lacked some action and bloodshed (which I thought, we can't expect that from marvel, but marvel did it)

I don't like the scene where as soon as she got her power, she immediately masters it without any struggle. That what takes me out of it be it a male or female idk. Every lead female characters in the MCU have basically the same character expect Wanda
