So glad I waited till I had a moment to pay attention to watch this. Loved how a clearly over-worked/bored freighter pilot reacted to naming yet another random planet. Then the encounter with some strange space entity having her go from controlled panic to pure bliss as she listens to it's song. It's a shame tech has to reboot & send her back to work. Definitely, space whales for the win.

just NOT at all reality. A ONE-person (woman in this case) crew is NOT plausible or close to realistic. What (ignorant). gov would RISK $BILLIONS$ of research, etc on ONE person piloting, sampling, etc WELL, ACTUALLY. there is a government that PROBABLY would now I think about it: After all, they STOLE A Presidential election in 2020

I LOVE the fact that this was an 'encounter' story but without all of the usual political or racial bias. There was likely some sort of alien lifeform but none of the 'OMG it's going to eat me! ' or 'It wants to destroy Earth! ' stuff. To me, a story is good when you want to see more of it and this fits that bill.

Great special effects and interesting concept but the actress just didn't match the events happening. Sorry, she came across as poor attitude and lazy - naming a planet with yyyy. Some corporation spent a lot of capital to build that ship and would not have it staffed with a low-effort performer.

Is this another space whale story Been there done that, sorry. I know it's a labour of love, but I was holding my breath for something UNKNOWN. and the happy ending just made it more predictable.

Huh There is nothing much to this story. It started getting mildly interesting with the magnetic anomaly and space whale sounds, then she goes back to sleep How can this be a labour of love with no plot I don't get it.

Nice little film! Captured the trucker in space Nostromo vibe from Alien without the horror. Definitely hope to see more space trucker films from Dust in the future.
