Although I'm a huge fan of Dust. I've never commented on any of the Dust shorts. But this one caught me off guard. The first five min. I thought it was going to be a dud. By the time the dance routine was in full swing, I was getting goose bumps. Good Job to all who came up with, wrote, directed and danced in this film. You guys deserve an award for this. I just wanted to make a point to say awesome, totally freaking awesome!

57: 38 Intelligence is defined, at least partially, by any species ability to think and avoid their own self destruction. If they do
they are intelligent or at least fullfilling one of the requirements to be considered so, but if not they're not.
Ergo, if mankind destroys itself, it should never have been calling itself sentient.
Only species that avoid self destuction may call themselves that.

Absolutely loved Alientologists. one of my top favorite Dust films. I can imagine the 3 of them cooped up together on the ship, getting on each others nerves and driving each other crazy. but then, they discover music and tap dancing and became happy together. What a charming, wonderful film!

We used to have a saying when I worked at the Veterinary clinic about animals waking up from surgery.
_If they're crying they're not dieing_
It sounds kinda harsh when I type it out lol. But the point is. yes.
Pain demands to be felt. You feel pain, you know your still alive.

Worlds Apart is a decent story, but the closed-caption subtitles are beyond funny. I have trouble understanding the English accents, but if I hadn't seen this little flick before, I'd have no idea what's going on. Can no one trans late English to American
reply

This is so weird. Or, I am. I have the blue jacket the alien is wearing with the side zipper. Bought it years ago at Ross' Department store. Plus, love this episode. No difference when archaeologists dig unusual finds up & try to guess what they were used for.

The story with H. G. Wells was an anomaly, it had a beginning, middle and end, and strangest of all it actually had a PLOT!
The trouble with a lot of these short films is that they have less of a storyline or plot than a cheap Fortune Cookie!

The 22 alien species and the anshar/anunaki killed Max Spiers because he knew and said that the human realm is an alien attack on the human heart and brain, that there is no free will, and that reincarnation has been an imprisonment.

Mind boggling garbage.
Mankind owns this planet until man has traded every inch of it for the devils dollor.
Please claim your ancestrial right to this world before you pass on, it can't be done in the spirit.

Worlds Apart -- Hey, maybe the Americans listened to Nicholas Tesla, and perhaps they built something that might give them a chance at the least. Or perhaps Tesla and whoever that other guy was worked together.

I reckon if it wasn’t for all these really crap Australian movies this place would be either empty or full of Fox & Fiends garbage propaganda segments (owned by an Australian. Ya just can’t win.
reply

love this one so well done thank you for the laughs the way u brought the music to life with the different beings fantastic idea, they always say music is just another way to exspress your self
reply

Alientologist - thinly veiled excuse for a tap dance routine - and absolutely brilliant concept. If this is the only thing left of humanity that's comprehended by aliens, why not Pure joy.
reply

Good God. The acting in the skit Worlds Apart was absolute shite. A school child could have acted better. Especially the guy who played his doctor. Straight cringe and terrible.
reply

It's hard to been afraid of HG's Martians. After all - these guys are so pathetic, they were defeated by common cold! But, I really Harry Terdluv's World War spin on it.
reply

What's the name of the one where the robot humanoid was at a rave & he fell on love with the robot hybrid on stage & he saves her I can't find it but, I know its by DUST
reply

You know what If some sweet jazz and music and a spot of dancing turns out to be the final legacy of humanity to this universe - I'd be okay with that.
reply

my main complaint is that the credits go by too fast so you are not giving full credit visually to the makers and performers please make that better!
reply

I guess some might find comfort knowing the inevitable cataclysm destroying all known life on Earth, that the Blue Man Group will somehow survive.
reply

sooo the 4th movie is what those 4th wave feminists want. just a bunch of green dicks exploding. other wise it made no sense at all.
reply

Actually, the only 1 that was remotely watchable was the war of the world style one with the Brits. Everything else just sucked. IMO
reply

Older man HG Wells, Not quit a scene out of the War Or the Worlds and a few qoutes out of the Things to come Or World history,

Alientologists is my all-time favorite! The acting is superb and I just love the whole concept of Tap-Dancing aliens.

Is that mean 'garbage' in their language
