The Bush administration had no substantial evidence of either WMDs in Iraq or any link between Iraq and al-Qaeda before invading Iraq. Iraq had no link to 9/11, and they knew this. The Iraq war claimed hundreds of thousands of civilian lives.
But by all means, we're all different, some of us invade countries and start wars that lead to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians, and some don't, that's just a difference of opinion.
